There are a lot of functions which students can benefit from but recently I lost data twice and the developer asks you to send google drive link and force you to download app from iMazing or whatever. So extensive recovery. I wish the app didnt crash in the beginning so I dont have to waste my time on how the recovery work. There is no guarantee whether if my data will get recovered. Time is essence and this app has wasted my time. Maybe find some other more durable note taking app until they make more solid foundation.

### ***** "BEST NOTE TAKING APP FOR 4 YEARS"
This app is truly AMAZING. I have tried countless note taking apps and completely settled with this after good notes and notability switched to subscription mode. I have been using it for 4 years for studying for my doctoral university degree now and the continuously newly added features from the developer, and the one-time purchase providing lifelong access to all future updates make it so, so, so worth it. This has recording function that syncs with your notes, ability to have pop-up document that you can hide and bring up at all times, and flexcil’s special tool mode that you can basically screenshot and link that screenshot between documents - I can’t mention every single feature that I love but those are the top three that I love. I highly, highly recommend this app to anyone looking to access premium features and function without the stress of a subscription. Thank you so much to flexcil developers for creating such high quality all-in-one app. I truly appreciate all your continuous updates for the past 4 years, as my experience with flexcil is just getting better and better throughout these years.

The editing features are all largely well designed and functional. However the big drawback I find is that when selecting elements with the lasso (text, handwriting, pictures, etc) they can only be moved around within the same page. If you need to move writing to another page to make room for new content on an existing page, you end up needing to rewrite and reimport all the same writing and images on the next page. This is a HUGE downside for anyone who might want to use this to organize their notes over time.

Also, if I’m able to clip a screenshot of a pdf to my clipboard, why can’t I then PASTE that image into a notebook? That seems like such an obvious feature.

I am a project management professional, I use this for construction drawings. This app crashes was too much, takes too much time to load drawings when im on site or during meetings. App is very very very unreliable. I need to see the drawing so this app simply has to work. It just has to work. Period. I use ipad pro so spec should not be an issue. But crashes too often. I am only using this because the link function which lets me link my notes directly to the drawings If this crashing, loading time becomes issue, i am completely switching to Notability. I am also seriously consider going back to old school and have the drawings printed instead. If you are a working professional in PM or any type of engineering, this app is NOT for you. Stay away. This app is for student, study notes only.

On a iPad Pro w iPad OS 15.2 the Lasso Tool does not work, cannot select text nor images. Was directed to the Help website but very little iPad OS guidance or troubleshooting there. Purchased the App thinking the Free version was limited but no difference. Deleted App, re-installed and restored purchase, but no improvement. The Lasso Tool does not work. Requested refund.

Flexcil 2 probably has all kinds of great new features, but I haven’t even bothered exploring them because some of the basic comforts of Flexcil 1 are not longer available. The key feature missing that I use all the time is basic but essential: please add the option of being able to flip through the pages with one finger (at least in the settings menu) so that I can thumb through my documents easily. Always have to use two fingers is a real inconvenience, and I won’t make the switch to #2 until this feature is restored.
