Brilliant app

I use pdf expert all the time, brilliant way to organise files and docs. Easy to use and reduce file size is great! I recommend it to many. Cathal Mc Carthy Visual Artist

What gives with the ‘variable’ subscription price???

The app’s page here on the App Store clearly says the annual subscription fee for PDF Expert is €52.99. Though I try to avoid subscription models, I was almost tempted, as this is an excellent app for what I want, editing PDF files in Dropbox without fuss or bother. But, just before closing the deal, for some reason I checked the annual subscription price a second time, this time under the Subscriptions tab of my iCloud password and, guess what, they’re actually charging €84.99 and not the clearly advertised €52.99, an increase of more than 30%!!!!! This is exactly why I don’t like or trust subscription software models. Whether it’s an error or shady practice, guess who would end up footing the bill, and maybe never even noticing it. Not good enough, folks.

Brilliant

We have used this app for years, and it’s superb for being virtually paperless. I started also using MacBook a year ago and bought the Mac version around $140 once lifetime fee yesterday absolutely perfect. What I won’t do is pay an anual subscription for my iPads, so I’ll stick with the old version for day to day stuff unless a one off fee for upgrade becomes available.

This PDF prog. Is the best, it turns silly work to fun. I am delight to purchase the license yesterday.

I don’t find it nearly quick enough . Long pauses to relabel or move items. Especially to apply comments with pencil .

Videos Issue

Embedded videos not playing correctly. It just plays same video when you move on to another embedded video.

Great App! But needs a “use Apple Pencil for writing” option

This app is great for annotating PDFs. I use it regularly for annotating my textbooks and lecture slides. However one major flaw with this app is that it doesn’t have an option to use the Apple Pencil strictly for annotating. Whenever I select the highlight or pen tool and try to navigate to the page with my finger, it starts using my finger to draw on the page. It’s only when I select the annotating tools with my Apple Pencil, it recognises that I’m using it and then I can navigate using my fingers and write with the Apple Pencil. It would be great if you can add a “Only write with Apple Pencil” or “use fingers to scroll” feature in the next update. Otherwise it’s a terrific app!
