## pdp Braincoach Description
Did you know that nearly 40% of all dementia cases could be prevented simply by adopting healthy lifestyle habits? 

The pdp Braincoach app is focused on keeping your brain fit with information about lifestyle factors tailored to positively impact YOUR brain health! Through the app, we share advice about modifiable risk factors scientifically proven to prevent and/or delay cognitive decline. Using this easily accessible and cost-free digital tool, you can take early action steps against dementia and build on your healthy ageing habits. This includes addressing modifiable risk factors such as nutrition, mood, smoking, obesity, kidney disease, mental stimulation, physical exercise, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cholesterol, and alcohol use.

Join pdp Braincoach and set your personalized brain-healthy goals to reduce your dementia risk. You may download the app on your mobile or access it from your computer at www.pdp-app.lu. From there, we invite you to answer a few questions about your general habits, which allows you to learn about how to successfully address relevant risk factors. Afterwards, you will be asked to create an account and to complete the one-time LIBRA (Lifestyle for Brain Health) questionnaire for your individualized risk factor recommendations.

It's never too late - and of course, never too early either - to identify and modify your daily lifestyle habits for working towards stronger cognitive health. The pdp Braincoach app allows you to keep up with different risk factor topics (e.g. smoking, alcohol, exercise or nutrition) or learn more about a medical condition (e.g. diabetes or heart disease) through short facts, tips, quizzes and challenges. Each day, expect a friendly and informative reminder to learn more about staying sharp by keeping an eye on different risk factors. Complete the quizzes and follow the challenges to gain points and keep track of your progress! Our content provides a range of advice and directs you to sources and associations where you can seek additional help and support.
