Peak - Brain Training

I’ve been a Peak user for several years now, but in the last couple of years the ads have ruined the app. I caved last year and bought the pro version, but I feel I’m being held to ransom. The ads are soooo long and impossible to click out of. I use other apps that have ads, but in comparison these seem unreasonably long (even longer than Duolingo’s). It’s ruined what is otherwise a great, brain-training app.

I played one game once, and when I tried to play it again all I got was adverts. Useless!

Most games are excellent- I especially love the word games. But No provision to allow feedback from paying customers. Flight path, boarding bonus level 1 is faulty. I have tapped every bonus shape in several games and it has never given me any points!

I like Peak, it trains my brain, I play it daily, time and again, The games are good and always vary But my poor skills are quite scary Playing this game keeps me sane🙂🥰 The REPETITIVENESS of the adverts puts me off😔😣😢 It would be nice to be told my best score in each particular game when I’ve just completed that game.

Make sure to be very careful on what goals you set at the beginning as there’s no way to change it later on and you may be stuck having to do tasks that are irrelevant to you (e.g. the happy faces task or flappy bird/dolphin game). Have reached out to their support email but still no response in 4 days. Update: Still no response from their support email after 2 weeks.

A great collection of mini-games. The challenges were simple enough for me to complete, and they helped me pass the time in a fun way.

At the start you got to choose which areas you were interested in or not. There’s then no way to change this. Please fix this, I have 0 interest in the flappy whale game.

I have been playing for years and there has been hardly any new games added. It gets a bit boring after a while.

One star is too many for something totally unusable. Zero more appropriate. Used to love this App, used it daily and subscribed for over a year. I then wanted to use it for ‘free’ for a bit. Expected some games to be unavailable but turns out NONE are available unless I ‘change my ads consent’. 15 minutes later - you have to scroll through all vendors etc removing consent individually - no ‘reject all’ option. Having done that still no games available so it wasted my time and it’s utterly useless unless I consent to all ads and intrusive access. Nope. Not going to subscribe again in a month or two as I’d intended given this bad practice and will delete it and avoid any apps by same company.
