## Peakbook Description
The Peakbook App is a very handy tool enabling you to register your tours, ascents and other visits as well as being a fully functional navigation device with gps and maps. With the App your tours are instantly available on Peakbook, long before you reach home. Your tours can already be fitted with text and images from your device while on tour. No need to turn on your computer to register unless you want to refine your tours via the website, which of course is possible.

Information on peaks and other points of interest from Peakbook is easily available within the app. And if you come upon a point of interest that is missing it can easily be added. 
Everything works offline just as fine as online. Synchronization takes place once you have internet access again.

Please note: If you are recording a track, the GPS will run in the background. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Jeg er veldig fornøyd med appen så langt. Grei og enkel å bruke. Veldig greie instruksjoner på hjelpeknappen. Har prøvd det meste av muligheter. Sporingen er veldig nøyaktig både online og på kart nedlastet for å gå offline. Bestigningene registreres automatisk. Det eneste er at en må huske å starte sporingen og trykke lagre når turen er over. Her må en huske å sveipe opp for du må trykke lagre på to steder. Oppretting av nye Pbe er veldig enkelt, men høyde over havet må en inn på PB og redigere for høyden vises 40-50 meter for lavt. For riktig høyde trengs GPS. En ting er meget viktig å huske på : slå av skjermen mens du sporer ellers renner batteriet. Smart ting er at en kan ta bilde fra appen slik at det automatisk legges til turen. Bildetekst skrives inn senere på PB. Har gjort turregistreringen svært enkel.

Genial app for Peakbook-brukere. Gjør det meget lett å registrere turer med bilder og gps-spor. Muligheten for offline kart gjør det mulig å bruke appen selv om man ikke har dekning. Bra!
