Description

Your iPhone is always with you and makes a great step counter.
Available on the iPhone and Apple Watch, Pedometer++ is the best way to review your step count, walking distance, active calories and heart rate data.
Set a custom step count goal, and track your progress over time. The built-in graphs make reviewing your data easy and fun. Everyone loves awards, and Pedometer++ includes a range of Badges to motivate and reward your hard work! The app also totals how far you’ve walked each day, and even counts the flights of stairs you encounter each day.
With full-featured widget support, Pedometer++ can display your step count or update you on your daily progress right from the lock screen or home screen of your iPhone.
The Apple Watch app puts all this data on your wrist. With a wide range of Complications, it’s easy to check your progress with just a glance. Add a single Complication to your daily watch face, or add several to build a comprehensive fitness-focused look!
DETAILS:
For best results, keep your iPhone on you as you move throughout the day, ideally in a pocket close to your hips. If you have an Apple Watch, you can set Pedometer++ to sync step data across your devices for the most accurate data possible.
The Apple Watch app can also be used to start and track both indoor and outdoor walking and running workouts and can serve as your guide while hiking.

ROUTES & MAPPING:
Pedometer++ is your ultimate companion for exploring the great outdoors. You can import GPX files for waypoints and routes set by others.
You can also use the app to create your own routes. Simply tap on your desired start and end points, and Pedometer++ will find the shortest route between them. You can then tweak the route based on terrain, trail popularity or personal preference.
In addition to the distance of a route, Pedometer++ shows the elevation changes you will encounter and the estimated time it will take you to reach your destination. You can also monitor the weather that is expected along your route.
The best part is that custom routing is available on the iPhone and Apple Watch. And of course, being out in nature often means losing cell service, so Pedometer++ allows you to download offline map data for large areas, not just data for your specific route. Offline map data is available on the iPhone and Apple Watch, as long as your Watch is within range of your phone.

NOTES:
Pedometer++ integrates with the Apple Health app to collect and display step data collected by your Apple Watch.
Pedometer++ includes an optional premium subscription. This is offered on a monthly or annual basis. If you choose to purchase a subscription your payment will be charged to your iTunes account. Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled within 24 hours before the end of the current period. After purchase, you can turn off auto-renewal anytime by going to your Account Settings on the App Store.
Access to iPhone-based workout tracking is only available to Pedometer++ Premium subscribers.

Perfect except…

Perfect for Apple Watch and iPhone. Would be even better if had support for Garmin devices that are connected to Apple health. Any chance you could look at making this possible plz? Also, it seems Pedometer is always about 2,000 steps behind Apple iPhone since the last update…. Any ideas?

Apple Watch Battery Issues & Numbers

Apple Customer 11 on

United Kingdom

My problem was the battery life on my Apple Watch was seriously affected by the app. But after uninstalling the app and reinstalling it the issue was rectified. Another problem I have is the step/stairs figures on my iPhone do not match my Apple Watch so not good for counting steps as I don’t know which one is correct. Also the developer just does not reply to my queries.

Data issues

I was well above 30 day streak (I have screenshots to prove it). The streak started in London and then carry out to NY where I stay a couple of weeks. Today I got back to London and my 30+ days streak is now a 3 day streak here, 4 day streak there and the same happen on my wife’s phone. We were doing our best to go beyond 10k steps every day and it was just a great excuse to go out and exercise. Now. Im very dissatisfied with this whole situation. How can this happen? Why was my daily streak going on for days and today all of the sudden doesn’t work? I always had internet connection. So this is either bad calculations with timestamps at different time zones, or a database regression that had bad data. Can this be fixed?

Complication glitch on my Apple Watch

For some reason lately, the Pedometer complication icon does not show on any of my watch faces. It’s the only one that doesn’t work.

Offline maps and hiking done right

SenseiPhil on

I have two apps that track my walks. Withings because of my watch, and Pedometer++. Why use both? I need the heart rate from Withings but everything else to do with steps, pace, mapping I need Pedometer++. There is only one feature from tracking walks that I need. I sometimes forget to stop tracking. I then drive home and have all that distance added. If I could trim the end by timestamp it would fix it. Withings and Strava let me - just would be icing on the cake if Pedometer++ did. Thanks David.

USED to be a great little App

Killercroc78 on

This App is user friendly, streamlined and attractively designed. I was more than happy to support the creator with a purchase after using it for free for a good year. Recommended. -EDIT- Three stars removed. The app kept force crashing and I was unable to re add my steps/distance complication. I had to delete and reinstall to make it work. I’ve love a 470+ day streak plus every single achievement I have earned. Makes me want to delete the app completely and use something else. Heartbreaking.
