Peech - Text to Speech Reader

This app was not wanted and I’ve ended up being billed £40 for something I don’t use and didn’t want through an email address I don’t use I contacted the company and they very swiftly / almost immediately cancelled this and refunded me Well done guys

Poor and it is not clear how to cancel in the app. Very poor.

Would be quicker to read a book than set up this app. Oh and the amount of attempts they make to get you to sign up for payment plans is unbelievable!!!

When American’s vote for their president, the people’s votes are rolled up and an electoral college representative for their state has the actual vote. They can go with the people, or against them if they think the people made a mistake. This app also thinks it knows better than its users and will not allow users to choose a reading voice, but selects one for you based on what it thinks you should hear. For a historical book about the 1960s Aden conflict, an authoritarian, male, English voice would have been most credible. The app chose an American, female voice. The user can’t change it. The narration was also poor.: Reference marks are read as if they are part of the main text. “This is the end of the sentence point one”. 10 December read as December 10. Way to alienate anybody outside the USA! Then there were unforgivable pauses in the wrong places, take the phrase “black and white”, meaning clear, obvious. The AI read “this was black. [significant pause] …and white.” I gave up half way through the acknowledgements section of the book. Didn’t even make it to the introduction. There’s no way I’d pay for £70 they were wanting for a year’s subscription. The quality just isn’t good enough.

Bad type recognition which then leads tp gobbdigook reading

Having seen the advert – I had very high hopes for this and it’s potential usefulness to me as someone who needs to get through a lot of material that spends far too much time in the car I gave the trial ago with a PDF academic style paper Most people with a smart phone will know that they can just get their phone to read them the text on screen, and if you have ever used Siri to read a document to you, you know what this application sounds like It does have more functionality, but I think people typically just want something red out when they haven’t got time to read it – From what I can see the app read the documents accurately, but for the cost – the difference between this and just getting my phone to read me the content of a webpage is impossible to discern I won’t be taking up the paid subscription, but I could see how some people might prefer the mixture of voices and be prepared to pay for it – particularly if they are claiming it on some kind of company expenses

The app does nothing that a number of free tools do. The developers have done everything possible to ensure that there is no way to cancel the subscription. Legitimate apps do not do this. A complete scam!

A really good app for people who don’t like to read

Im 9 i dont have email so young readers will not be able to use peech i also can not use differant books not to be scaned if not scaned properly peech cant figure speech the scaner is upside down so its very hard to scan

I hate it when it goes like this like why you trying to gain money just let the person listen without saying limit reached wanna go premium ♾️
