Write naturally with Apple Pencil on iPad, sketch with your finger, or type when text works better. Plan your days, weeks, months, and year, keep notes alongside your plans, and organize everything without giving up the flexibility of pen and paper. PLAN ACROSS YOUR WHOLE LIFE Move naturally between Day, Week, Month, and Year views. Write directly on your planner, add typed details where supported, and keep projects, meetings, ideas, journals, and reference material on dedicated Note pages. Whether you're planning a busy workday, outlining a project, keeping a journal, or simply figuring out what comes next, PencilTime gives you room to plan without forcing you into a rigid system. WRITE, TYPE, AND MARK THINGS UP • Write, sketch, and highlight with Apple Pencil or touch. • Type on Note pages and supported planner areas. • Format Note text with size, color, bold, italic, underline, highlighting, alignment, lists, and indentation. • Add editable lines, arrows, rectangles, rounded rectangles, and ellipses. • Mix handwriting, typed text, shapes, stickers, links, and images on the same page. FIND WHAT YOU NEED AGAIN Search typed content across planner and Note pages from the top-bar magnifying glass. Filter results to Planner or Notes, sort in several ways, choose whether capitalization must match, and jump directly back to the page you need. Search includes supported typed page content, Note titles, Note text, Day entries, and Link labels. Handwriting, drawings, template labels, attachments, and live Apple Calendar events are not included in text search. START WITH A LAYOUT, MAKE IT YOUR OWN Choose from bundled Note layouts for Paper, Study, Work, Productivity, Personal, Home & Money, and Creative uses. Use layouts for meeting notes, assignments, exam prep, projects, budgets, checklists, habit tracking, brainstorming, sketching, and more. Change a Note page's background later while keeping your existing content in place. KEEP EVERYTHING CLOSE • Connect planner and Note pages with Page Links. • Add website, email, phone, message, and file links. • Attach files and preview them with Quick Look. • Add reminders, photos, images, labels, and emoji. • Return quickly with Bookmarks, Recent Pages, and Back navigation. • Export completed pages as PDF or PNG. WORK THE WAY YOU PREFER Use PencilTime with the on-screen keyboard or a hardware keyboard. Choose Fit Page or Fit Width when viewing portrait pages in landscape, set your preferred first day of the week, and use your device language for planner date labels. START FREE, ADD PREMIUM WHEN YOU NEED IT Start with handwriting, supported typed text, search, bundled Note layouts, and one new Note page per day. Premium adds unlimited Note pages, Tags and Smart Folders, Apple Calendar integration, iCloud sync, and access to future planner dates. Apple Pencil is supported on compatible iPads. iPhone supports touch and keyboard input. iCloud sync requires Premium and the same Apple Account on your devices. --- Privacy Policy: Support: support@semore-software.com By using this app, you agree to Apple’s standard End User License Agreement: ## Pencil Planner Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/71/d2/c1/71d2c1a3-07a9-8dd6-4fb2-63dbde064c12/01.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/8f/f5/8f/8ff58f54-e003-6a12-a477-20db7c84df6f/06.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/03/77/68/03776885-3ba0-ebeb-9484-1fd82f8bfbd4/07.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ae/c4/e2/aec4e288-dd7c-3e45-82b9-9f35eb13df68/08.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/bb/f7/33/bbf73366-ac67-3f1b-352a-5d50f7331552/02.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/99/f8/99/99f89933-2714-2707-5dc3-a0bdd1c97108/04.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/c6/c9/3c/c6c93c77-d748-35c7-db0c-fbe1d092d688/05.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/f6/db/63/f6db6347-f387-1814-906f-15fe0ba0f08f/03.png/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/d8/82/8a/d8828a59-33a2-31a3-0d07-f2a7dcfcee61/09.png/1284x2778.png) ## Pencil Planner Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 25 (78%) - 4 stars: 4 (13%) - 3 stars: 1 (3%) - 2 stars: 1 (3%) - 1 stars: 1 (3%) ## Pencil Planner Reviews in United States ### ***** "Nice ui" Nice ui replace paper planner with this -- maninatarajan, 2026-09-16 ### ***** "Keyboard writing missing 🥲" This application has a great and beautiful user interface with great colours and options. However for those who don’t use a pencil it’s so hard to write with the finger. I gladly could support this project if I knew I could use my Apple Magic Keyboard to write as well. -- terris2212, 2026-07-04 ### **--- "Want longer pages" I want to be able to continue writing instead of having to ceate a new version -- ckovacs96007, 2026-05-15 ### ***** "The closest I’ve gotten to by paper notebook" I’ve been a hardcore paper BuJo user for years because I couldn't find a digital app that let me do "rapid logging" without it feeling like I was filling out a spreadsheet. This app changed that. The Apple Pencil integration means my symbols and handwriting actually look like my own, and the dedicated note pages are perfect for maintaining my Index and long-term Collections right alongside my daily spreads. I love that I can use stickers for my keys/bullets but still have the freedom to draw my own layouts when the standard templates don't fit my mood. The real kicker is the iPhone sync, I finally have my full planner in my pocket for quick reference when I’m out, which solves the "bulky" problem I always had with my paper notebooks. It’s the ritual of paper with the digital convenience I actually needed. -- Tammy.worker.bee, 2026-05-07 ### ***** "Link stickers are a game changer" Love that I can create note pages and link directly to them from my planner pages. Makes organizing so much easier-projects, meeting notes, daily tasks all connected. Handwriting feels great. -- Nikki@1989, 2026-04-25 [View all Pencil Planner reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Pencil Planner In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Weekly Premium | $1.99 | | Lifetime Premium | $49.99 | | Yearly Premium | $14.99 | ## Pencil Planner Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/united-kingdom) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/japan) - [Botswana](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/botswana) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/colombia) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/australia) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/china) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/india) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/south-korea) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/argentina) - [Costa Rica](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/costa-rica) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/ecuador) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/egypt) - [Guyana](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/guyana) - [Honduras](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/honduras) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/indonesia) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/israel) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/iceland) - [Jamaica](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/jamaica) - [Jordan](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/jordan) - [Kenya](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/kenya) - [Sri Lanka](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/sri-lanka) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/north-macedonia) - [Macao SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/macau) - [Namibia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/namibia) - [Nicaragua](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/nicaragua) - [Nepal](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/nepal) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/new-zealand) - [Oman](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/oman) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/philippines) - [Paraguay](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/paraguay) - [Qatar](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/qatar) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/saudi-arabia) - [Senegal](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/senegal) - [Suriname](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/suriname) - [El Salvador](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/el-salvador) - [Tunisia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/tunisia) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/taiwan) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/ukraine) - [Uruguay](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/uruguay) - [Uzbekistan](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/uzbekistan) - [Venezuela](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/venezuela) - [British Virgin Islands](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/british-virgin-islands) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/vietnam) - [Yemen](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/yemen) - [Armenia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/armenia) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/south-africa) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/azerbaijan) - [Bahrain](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/bahrain) - [Brunei](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/brunei) - [Bolivia](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/bolivia) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/brazil) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/belarus) - [Belize](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/belize) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/switzerland) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/pencil-planner-penciltime-Rvhx/chile) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
