Feedback: The UI is still a bit janky in places. This includes: Unintuitive design - swiping the playback bar to go to prev/next track works the opposite from most other apps (with no option to invert controls) Bugs/glitches * Pressing “edit sections” a few times sometimes causes the app to freeze * Sometimes the lock screen / control center buttons (prev/next track) will freeze and become nonresponsive * If library is saved into iCloud, sometimes the app gets into an inconsistent state where it fails to load any track (greyed out as if file not found), and requires closing and reopening library folder. I just wish there was an "idle" screen with a progress bar and album cover on the app itself. The only way to know how long there is remaining in a song is to close my phone and view it from the lockscreen. There doesn't seem to a good place to "rest" your screen in the app itself while music plays. Having my screen open to strictly menus and whatnot makes me feel like I'm going to accidentally bump my screen and select another song. My instinct is to tap on the bottom label where the song name is, and have it "open up" a menu for the song where most of the screen is a sort of exhibit/display of the currently-playing track, and where a mindless touch of the screen won't do anything. The UI does need additional modern UX and, playback features with functuional tweeks but, with the Pro level EQ, there’s not a better sounding Music App for iOS, less the Subscription others require in the App Store. If all you want is a way to listen to your personal music collection on your phone, this app is basically the best. However, it is very opinionated and minimal, in mostly good ways. No playback options (no repeat, shuffle, etc), no playlists, no queuing of any sort. It’s all about the ALBUM and that’s what makes this app beautiful. But it does need a bit more, doesn’t it? I would like to queue at least 1 album, especially during my commute or road trips. Even my car stereo can hold 4 CDs at a time… The app also doesn’t save your playback state, so if the app is ever unloaded from the phones memory for any reason while a song is paused, the app loses any trace of what you were listening to and you have to start again from scratch.
