### *---- "Worst banking app in Sri Lanka"
People’s Bank’s WYN Banking App is, in my experience, one of the worst and least user-friendly banking apps in Sri Lanka. The whole process is unnecessarily complicated and frustrating.

• An OTP is required every time you log in, which is extremely inconvenient.
• There is no easy option to download or obtain a fund transfer receipt.
• You cannot properly save third-party beneficiaries/recipients for future transfers.
• For a fund transfer, you first have to enter all the details, including the account number, bank, branch and recipient’s name.
• After entering everything, you have to go to Tasks to claim the fund transfer.
• Then you have to go to Tasks again to approve the transfer.

Why make a simple fund transfer so complicated?

The entire process involves unnecessary steps and takes far too much time. Compared with other modern banking apps, WYN is nowhere near user-friendly.

Honestly, it can feel easier to withdraw cash from one bank and physically deposit it into another bank than to make a transfer through this app.

People’s Bank should seriously review the user experience and simplify the entire digital banking process. A banking app should make banking easier—not make customers work harder
