## PerchLens Reviews in United States

### **--- "Great feeder app needs work"
The feeder is great quality and the solar power is a perfect addition. The app needs work. It crashes while using it often, and the AI is not accurate most of the time. Scrolling through footage should be easier than it is. App needs some fine tuning for sure. Feeder 10/10 app 4/10 :(
-- M of Texas, 2025-08-05

### *---- "Penguins in Texas"
Who knew we had penguins here. The AI is rarely correct. It also sends an alarm and scares my birds away. Obviously, it doesn’t know the difference between a bird and a rodent. Please update this app!
-- AmarilloBob, 2025-07-29

### *---- "Horrible app"
I get like 200 notifications a day that "little animal guests" have been detected at my bird feeder, and maybe 1 notification a week that a BIRD has been detected at my bird feeder. I don't blame the app for ask the squirrels visiting, but if it can tell the difference between a squirrel and a bird, why is there no way to turn off squirrel notifications and only keep bird notifications? There is literally no setting for this. I can turn off all notifications (defeating the entire point of the app), or I can keep them on and get dozens of notifications every hour about squirrels visiting. FURTHERMORE, the app does frequently SAY (and send me a notification) that the bird feeder has "automatically evicted little animal guests." I have zero idea what this means since the squirrels are always still there after it says that, and nothing appears to be happening in response to their presence. A close relative bought this feeder as a gift for us or I would ABSOLUTELY return it.
-- Phunphotographer, 2025-07-23

### *---- "Incorrect Identification"
The birds are incorrectly identified 90% of the time. Southern Asian birds in Mi
-- Jmg4991, 2025-07-13

### *---- "Poorly designed app"
Do not buy — this app is very difficult to use. The idea sounds nice, but execution is not good.
-- AlexGraal, 2025-06-28

### *---- "Not a good app"
Hard to get this birdfeeder set up with the app. I’ve spent hours trying to get it to connect. Then I got it to connect, set it up in the backyard with a good connection to my WiFi. It disconnected immediately. Brought the camera back in and it seems to be working but the app says there’s no device. Call CS and he said to remove the app from my phone and start all over. I probably have 5+ hrs trying to get this thing to work. Returning it to Costco.

### **--- "NOOO"
Love seeing birds but u have to take out camer to charge it if not in right spot for solar and u can’t cancel membership so u don’t get changed . Having a hard time right now with this
-- helies, 2025-06-24

### ***-- "Could be even better…"
This app would get 5 stars from me if it had a version specifically designed for an iPad.
-- lady golfer, 2025-06-23

### ****- "Feeder"
Works great. Love seeing what frequents my feeder. But….. needs a sensitivity adjustment on motion detection. Wind/leaves moving falsely set it off too often.
-- Texian1850, 2025-06-21

### ***** "Easy to use"
Easy to set up and use. We don’t have the subscription, but everything else seems stable and working good. We were worried about squirrels, then noticed a squirrel deterrent in an update and it works great!!! Very pleased.
