When you create your account and try to register your pet information, they only give you a cat or dog choice. That’s just stupid. I bought a couple of these cams for my parrots’ aviary. The video quality is ok but not great, and gets very grainy when you zoom. Also, the WiFi receiver doesn’t seem very good, because the cameras drop off the network fairly regularly. They are well within range of the router.

This app is not at all user friendly and does not come with adequate instructions.  Very frustrating when you're trying to set up a 2nd camera on the premium plan, which is NOT cheap

This app doesn’t allow users to switch off their cameras. I need to be able to turn off/on the cameras via the app! (the glowing light on the camera is too bright at night - bothers my cat. I can’t unplug it nightly when I’m out of town, and so I need to be able to turn it off in the app.)

do not buy from this company. They promise you services and then stop them and basically you are stuck with a device that is no longer functual for the reasons you bought it unless you pay a monthly fee. ridiculous. i'll be converting back to my Ring or Wyze cameras.

I used to love pet cube, no subscription and would see the last 3 hrs of videos recorded. Now? Nothing. Doesn’t record, gives you an update when your pet is in the room but that’s it.

Been using PetCube for over five years, and appreciated the basic service of care asleep/care awake settings to check past footage within a certain time frame (short videos disappeared after a few hours, which was fine). They have now disabled that feature, and past footage is no longer accessible unless you sign up for PetCare, which is a subscription service with a monthly fee. Prices going up on everything are bad enough without this being added on top of it. Very disappointed with this new change.
