Update: As of August 30th, 2024 the camera feed has been stable for 2 months) Everything is working flawlessly 👍🏻 

The feeder itself is great, but the camera feed started becoming unreliable a few months ago and now the feed is never stable when using cell data. When i’m home using wifi it works great. But the whole point of the feeder is to monitor your pets while you are away. I am not the only person experiencing this. There is a whole reddit page devoted to the same issue. Please fix this issue ASAP Petlibro. When I first bought the feeder the camera feed worked great for months, now it is completely unreliable and frustrating! Server upgrades, software upgrades, whatever you have to do please do it or else I cannot recommend your product to people I know.

PROS
1. Ease of Use
The app is user-friendly with an intuitive interface that makes scheduling meals and managing portions simple.
2. Remote Feeding 
The ability to feed your pet remotely is a significant advantage for busy pet owners, ensuring that pets are fed on time even when you’re not at home.

CONS
1. Lack of Integration with Smart Home Systems
Currently, the app does not support integration with Google Home or Apple HomeKit. Adding these integrations would be a fantastic enhancement, allowing users to feed their pets using voice commands through their smart home systems.
2.Voice Message Playback
The app does not allow playing voice messages without dispensing food. Enabling this feature would be useful for calling pets to their feeding area or for general communication.
3.Voice Message Recall
Introducing a feature to recall and play up to three voice messages could help in reinforcing feeding habits and encouraging pets to approach their food.
4.Small Portion Dispensing
The app currently does not support dispensing very small portions, such as 5 grams. This feature would be beneficial for pet owners who need precise control over their pets' diet for health reasons.

Overall, while the PETLIBRO app provides essential features for pet feeding, these enhancements could significantly improve user experience and pet care.

The app works well and is accurate to the feeding schedule but I keep getting multiple push notifications throughout the day that aren’t accurate. I’ve gotten “Cat Feeder: Scheduled Feeding Successful” 10x today when no feeding was scheduled. The feeder isn’t going off at these random times just the notification is coming in. I can’t figure out how to make it stop besides removing notifications altogether. There’s no option in the app to report issues either.

App was easy to set up and connected to the 2G/5G granary feeder and dockstream water fountain without any problems. My WiFi is quite reliable and we haven’t had any connection issues so far. The feeder even updated to the latest firmware. 

We get notifications from both devices to our phones. Only con so far is that if you have the app on both iPhone and iPad, you cannot be logged into both devices. Logging into one device will log you out of the other. However, the apps do support Face ID for authentication so logging back in is easy. 

My wife and I both like to keep track of our pet so sharing devices is simple enough. My wife did need to create her own account via the app so that I could share both devices with her using her email address. 

Seems like the auto-ordering via Alexa is only available in the US for now as it gave me an error when I tried to connect using Amazon Canada account. Assuming this will be addressed in the future.  

Would be good to order replacement filters and other accessories via the app in the future as well (especially in Canada). 

So far, the app is good and working as expected.  Looking forward to additional features in the future.

I have a water fountain as well as a granary feeder both work very well with the app. The app is sleek looking and very responsive. 
The only issue is that even when I read the notifications inside the message center, my app still shows notifications for the app… I have to delete all the messages in message center for then to disappear, this is pretty annoying since I would love to keep some of the messages.
