My cats love this feeder. It would be nice to get push notifications when the desiccant bag needs changed. Also, if it could set a push notification when the feeder is low on food. Think again!" Bought this water fountain to know how much my cat is drinking. He was drinking fine before, but the world has to be measured and recorded so so does his. After giving them a ton of information they don’t really need with an annoying login process that logs you out each time you use another device while making you set your region and saying you agree to the terms every time, you get to the core of the app where the app counts down from 14 twice and tells you how much your cat is drinking and when. But how much should your cat drink? They take all the height, weight, eating habits, etc., but then make you pay $60 to have that simple calculation performed. You have to set your own goal. This information is one web search away from but for $80 for the water fountain, you’d think the very basic measurement it’s designed to have you compare against would be BLOODY WELL included in the app! -- Tickled Brain, 2024-12-29 ### ***-- "Updates rendered it useless" Loved my pet feeder and worked great for the first 6 months. Now it's totally useless. I believe it's the most recent app update. I tried resetting the feeder and reset my wifi. The device just won't stay connected to the app. Constant timeout issues. Feeder only works if I manually dispense from the feeder itself which defeats the point of having an automatic feeder. Waste of money at this point. Hope the developers care enough to fix it but for now, I recommend staying away from these feeders. Update: submitted a ticket and they said they had server issues. I was pushed a new update and the feeder is working again. For the fountain I get these notifications, more like bright red alarm alerts every day. It is very stressful. I set my cleaning and filter notifications to 24 days to try and cut back on my alarms. I turned off all reminders for cleaning notifications in the settings and every day I still get these red alarm alerts reminding me to replace the filter and clean everything. It doesn't matter how much time I have left on my existing filter. It doesn't matter that I have notifications for reminders turned off. It doesn't matter how far in the future I have my filter to last. Every day I get these bright red alarm alerts and there's nothing I can do about it. Keeping an eye on exactly how much water he’s taking in is paramount to keeping him feeling good and Petlibro has made that super easy and he drinks so much more than his last bowl. The “customer service” at PetLibro will jerk you around with empty words. I spent weeks and weeks emailing back forth begging for a resolution. I have pages of emails and tons of screenshots when I was asked by PetLibro to prove my claims. The device is a complete disgrace. I have one of their fountains as well and just found that is leaching rust into my cat’s water. My sensitivity is set to the lowest and smallest setting. The updates are getting worse and worse. But I gave it two stars because it still holds the feed and still feeds. The product itself is great but functionality is sooo limited. You have either free feeding or scheduled feeding. If you forget to refill the feeder and refill it you can’t randomly free feed and then continue with the feeding schedule. You would have to use your next feed within that date and it then moves to the next calendar day. Also , why can’t I choose what tray to free feed with? I constantly have to cancel scheduled feedings. I don’t know what tray has or doesn’t have food. This is an easy fix . Allow users to free feed while not interfering with their scheduled feeding.
