## PetTest Digital Companion App Description
Record Your Pets's Blood Glucose Information

The PetTest Digital Companion App is a blood glucose monitoring/recording tool dedicated to the care of diabetic pets.

The role of the PetTest Digital Companion App is that of a blood glucose meter tracking tool to record pet's blood glucose according to their PetTest blood glucose meter's information. It can easily distinguish if the pet’s blood glucose levels are too high or too low based on the user’s blood glucose threshold value, which they can set to their vet’s recommended levels. The PetTest Digital Companion App provides clear charts of blood glucose trends to the user as a reference, and can also supply smart alarms and helpful reminders for medicine and insulin. Furthermore, the PetTest Digital Companion App offers a direct link to the educational PetTest blogs, written by AAHA-Certified instructors.

With this APP, you're able to:
1. Record pet’s blood glucose information and observe blood glucose trends.
2. Create notes for recording pet’s behavior.
3. Set alarms to remind users to administer their pet’s medicine/insulin or come back the veterinarian.
4. Read informational, regularly updated blogs on topics concerning diabetic pets.

PetTest is not liable for troubleshooting or supporting other brands or products outside of our own. The PetTest Digital Companion app works as a basic journalling app for all pet glucose meters, though some special features may be limited to PetTest-branded meters.

## PetTest Digital Companion App Reviews in United States

### **--- "Great idea but needs work"
It nice to have the app log BG values for you when using the PetLink+ and companion app. However the longer I use the app the longer it takes to transfer data from meter to app (which is pretty annoying) and I often have to import the data twice before it works. I assume the app is transferring all data each time and not just the new data. I might try deleting the meter’s data to see if that helps with speed. Other suggestions for improvement:
1. Ability to sort Notes section. Currently notes are listed in the order they are entered. It would be more helpful to see them chronologically by the time you select.
2. Ability to download the Notes as a CSV

3.View showing Notes (meals & insulin) plotted on the curve chart so we can better determine any correlations between BG values and meals, medicines, exercise, etc.

I might go back to the spreadsheet method until improvements are made.

### ***** "Awesome company and awesome products!"
I use quite a few Pet Test products for my pets. The glucose meter is my go-to. Their eye supplement is great also!
This app is a must for keeping track of your sugar babys info!

### ***** "Love the brand and all things Pettest."
I own a meter and use their brand of diabetic dog supplies. So happy with everything. And if I ever had/have a problem, their customer services is always on top of their game and it gets resolved.

### ***** "Huge improvement!"
You can tell so much work has been put into this app recently. A great tool to share BG trends with the vet!

### *---- "Meter is good, but app doesn’t work"
If the app worked, this would be my main glucose meter. But I have tried dozens of time to set up account to get the app working and it gives off continuous errors. Pettest is missing out on repeat business of supplies. We need an app with tracking software to help keep track of our glucose readings. It is really too bad, because we love that the meter requires much less blood than traditional meters, and the individually wrapped test strips are a great idea. But… Without an app. This meter is rendered practically useless. Too bad.

### ***-- "Can’t Add Notes"
I bought the glucose kit and started using this app with it. It’s not very user friendly. I do like the glucose chart & readings page. Today I tried to save to the notes, logging the food & medicine like I normally do & it just says “done” instead of “save”. I can’t add notes at all. Very frustrating. What’s the point of the app of I can’t document my dogs medical information in the notes. Might as well continue doing in a notebook -less hassle.
