## Philosophy Now Description
Philosophy Now is a magazine for everyone interested in ideas. It aims to corrupt innocent citizens by convincing them that philosophy can be exciting, worthwhile and comprehensible, and also to provide some light and enjoyable reading matter for those already ensnared by the muse, such as philosophy students and academics.

Philosophy Now appears every two months. It contains articles on all aspects of Western philosophy, as well as book reviews, letters, news, cartoons, and the occasional short story.

Since its small-scale launch in Britain in 1991, Philosophy Now has grown to become the most widely-read philosophy periodical in the English language. Philosophy Now is independent of all groups and has no intentional editorial bias except for a passionate conviction that philosophy is a Good Thing.

## Philosophy Now Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Rubbish app (great magazine)"
Cannot use with “website subscription”. In hindsight, maybe should have realised that “website subscription” meant “website-only subscription”, but surely one digital subscription should work for both app and web.
-- paulant, 2020-06-10

### ***-- "First rate read in a poor app."
The magazine itself is excellent thought provoking and stimulating in a way you might expect from a philosophy journal. The app itself is atrocious, it jumps from articles to the magazine front cover in one click is my particular gripe though the lack of a bookmark is also irritating.
Hopefully the app itself can be improved.
-- ChapWithWings5RoundsRapid, 2019-10-11

### **--- "Good mag crap app"
Attempts to return to contents page result in frozen white screen needing device restart to clear
-- BillH16, 2016-01-23

### ***** "Great app for philosophy lovers"
Whole lot of philosophy that's easy to access and read.
-- Jijibibo, 2014-11-18

### ****- "Waste of money"
Nice, functional app that is easy to use.
-- Tnwilk, 2014-04-02

### ***** "How brilliant to finally see you on iPad...love this!"
Great to have this
-- Hibernis, 2014-01-11
