Purchasing liquidity warning

Wallet doesn’t tell you that sending funds on chain will reduce your liquidity capacity that you’ve already paid for. This needs to be made more clear

Best Self-Custodial Lightning wallet

Phoenix is the easiest to use and set-up “self custodial” Lightning wallet currently available, of-course in my opinion. If you’ve only used a custodial one before, then the experience here is pretty similar, with fees and “what’s going on under the hood” explained well enough that I don’t feel caught out or uncertain, without it being an overly-technical explainer. I’ve used Breez before and found Phoenix works better for me. If you’ve never used Lightning before, then Phoenix is still going to work well for you - it’s well built for a general audience not ‘pros’ only. (Other good options are Breez, Mutiny Wallet (web based) and Zeus)

Best non-custodial wallet IMHO

Channel splicing is a step towards hiding lightning mechanics from end users, and ability to rent channel liquidity mitigates online fees to some extent. Still can’t beat the ease of a custodial wallet experience, but some great additions to custodial functionality for those that care.

Wallet is awesome and if you ever need to contact support they are quick and very helpful. Will continue to recommend this wallet!
