Description

Finally! A children's app that won't annoy adults! Perfect for parents and caregivers who want to offer an interactive phonics practice without having to worry about ads, data collect or "pay to win" tactics that target children.
No internet connection required. Phonics Fun is a low-stimulation, educational game that offers a calm environment for exploring phonics and phonemes - also known as the basic building blocks of reading and spelling.

Low-Stimulation: No over-the-top distractions, loud noises, or sound for the sake of sound. Quite frankly, this app may feel 'boring' to a child who is used to extreme stimulation with TV Shows, or excessive screen time - which makes this app exactly what that child needs to help center them back toward a calm environment where the information can be better retained. Also suitable for low-screen time families, children with sensory sensitivity, and for second-language learners.

Self-paced: Children can interact with this app at their own pace. There are no time limits or lives to lose. Designed with children in mind, this app has no high scores, no fails, no time limits, no stress.

Levels: Starting with shorter words, and focusing on letter sounds, eventually you level up towards blending sounds, and the additional difficulty of identifying sounds at the beginning, middle, and end of the words. Levels progress based on the child's rate of successfully identifying correct sounds/letters.

Research-based: Built with the most up-to-date learning principles in mind. More and more, schools are returning to a phonics-approach for early reading skills.

Affordable: No ads, no data collection, no 'pay to win'. Phonics Fun remains affordable - with no hidden costs, no monthly subscriptions, no repeated in-app purchases beyond the initial full version - so it can be accessible to all. Free to try, and unlike other apps that may only provide up to a few select sounds or words, we provide you with enough free content to truly get a good feel for the product. The full price is generously affordable.

With over 300+ unique words that cover all 44 phoneme sounds, we use the beginning, middle and end sounds as practice.
This is a great way to help expand the reading knowledge of early learners, second-language learners, homeschooling families, and even for parents who identify their lack of ability to properly teach their children the fundamentals of phonics.

Features:
No Ads, no data collection, no pay-to-win
Offline game
Parental Lock for settings/options
Phonemic Awareness
44 Phoneme Sounds, Graphemes, Dipthongs, Diagraphs

We are a small family business and we enjoy making wholesome resources for our own children. We tried to make this the best affordable phonics app on the market. We hope you love Phonics Fun as much as we loved building it.
