Photo Splash photo editor app Reviews

Do not ever download

Photo splash is awful on

United States

Worst app I’ve used. Glitch, freeze and constant ads and attempts to trick you into purchasing pro. Do not use this awful product. All photo come with water mark unless pro is purchased.

Good app but not free

mummys3monkeys on

Really liked how easy to use- only did trial bc too expensive

Junk. Do not download. Can’t try

Polishpanda_ on

Won’t even let you try before you buy. This is problem with creators. They think once they make an app they will be rich. When in fact they forget there are thousands of apps just like there’s but better. Better features, too. Do not download

DOESN’T EVEN LOAD ONTO MY IPAD

Angstrom03 on

This has trouble even loading onto my Ipad. It entered an infinite loop while displaying “Loading”, so I couldn’t even begin to give it a try.

How many gimmicks do developers think we can afford‽

PhelineCat on

I've had this app for *years* but haven't been doing any color splash work for a long time. Today, I have a project, and I'm checking out my apps - to find out that the price of this has shot up tremendously. $31 for a year‽ No way to own‽ I could dig through my records for what the cost was when I last used it, just to see how absurd it has become, but I'll probably just move on to my other similar apps to find one that's reasonably priced for the functions available. At least some developers grandfather in users who have had the app for years- but nope. Not these guys. I'm all for a living wage, don't get me wrong, but the cost of doing business surely hasn't gone up so much that every developer “needs” to charge $25-$50+ annually sometimes without even an option to buy. This isn't an all-around editor- it changes colors and adds some gimmicks. Wouldn't it be nice if Apple or Google add Color Splash and/or Recolor to their basic editors? Once upon a time they didn't include a crop tool (not that some huge %age of people seem to know how to use it!) and other tools I had to buy. I don't care for monopolies but if developers are acting in concert with each other on the cost of apps (and g-d subscriptions!) there may as well be one already.

Never stops trying to charge you for more

Mousakakan on

United States

This app continually tries to charge for services already purchased. They make some small change and then try to charge for it. I liked the original app, then they added a few things I didn’t want and made me repurchase it. I liked it, so I did. Then they did it again… I have other apps that already offer the things they added and I don’t like the way they do business. I wouldn’t get it again.

Terrible

App does not do anything until you sign up for a subscription. I was not able to even try a sample of something before buying. Trash
