Description

This piano app provides oodles of visual effects and even teaches a song for kids to learn. It can help beginners learn the letter names for notes on the bass and treble clef ("F" on bass through to "G" on treble). Our preschooler really likes the stars and sparkles!
Key letters can be set to any of these options:
1) C D E F G A B
2) C D E F G A H
3) Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si

This app will not help me learn the notes, there should be a sample play review before you purchase the app

I finally understand the purpose of this App

If they said "1% satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" I would certainly get reimbursed. To their credit this makes for a good recommendation for that annoying co-worker in your office.

Indeed. The other reviewer who mentioned that this was disappointing was spot on. I (wrongly) assumed that this would be a good place to start my non-music reading kiddos to get them introduced & perhaps quiz them to the learn the notes. Thought I might enjoy brushing up, too. From the images, you can imagine that it might have some fun little challenges, right? Umm. No. So here is what it does (or did, before I deleted this waste-o-memory app): You tap the note, it shows you where it is on the staff. You can give the note different sound effects - xylophone, birds chirping, etc. yup. That's it. Worth a dollar right? Not even close. This would be boring even to my two year old.

No instruction. Just a staff and a keyboard.

When you touch a key on the keyboard the program responds with stars or sounds and shows the note you touched on the staff. That's it. That's all it does.
