The goal is simple: if you play piano, you can learn to play by ear. PianoByEar teaches you to understand music through numbers, not just letters. Instead of memorizing one song at a time, you learn how songs work inside a key, how melodies move, how chord progressions are built, and how to hear the numbers behind what you play. WHAT YOU LEARN • Start Playing Numbers Learn simple songs and progressions in C major and A minor first, using mostly white keys. See familiar letters or chords on top, then the number version underneath. • Train Your Relative Pitch Play fast ear-training games where you hear notes inside random keys, identify the mystery number, and improve level by level. • Learn All Keys Practice placing 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 in major and minor keys until every key starts to feel familiar. WHY IT WORKS Most pianists learn songs one by one. PianoByEar helps you learn the system behind the songs. You train to hear: • melody numbers • chord numbers • bass movement • major and minor keys • patterns that repeat across songs BUILT FOR REAL PIANISTS This is not a beginner piano app. It is for people who already play and want more freedom. Use it on your iPhone, then apply the exercises on your real piano. PianoByEar is designed to help you stop being trapped by sheets and start understanding what you hear.
