The PUL recipes are absolutely delicious and the directions are clear and easy. New recipes are added (almost?) daily. As our family is trying to eat plant-based meals more often, I very much appreciate the nourish method, making it easy to see if we are getting all the nutrients we need. From a technical perspective: This might be the best app I have used so far. It is incredibly user-friendly, contains every functionality you might think of needing and looks very clean. Very well done!
The app contains so many great vegan recipes and it makes the recipes so easy to make! With really helpful filters you can easily look for exactly what you need ! Love it so much 💗
User friendly, clear instructions, easy and complex recipes, a high standard of complexity in flavours (not your average vegan influencer recipes!), my daily go-to app for inspiration. Child friendly recipes. Could not live without! 💛
I already knew how tasty and nutritious the recipes were, so I was eager to try out the app. Apart from the exclusive recipes, what makes the app stand out from the website is how it eases the decision taking processes and prep work surrounding food, so it really simplifies life. Nutrition The nourish-feature encourages you to eat from all the food groups instead of just focusing on calories and micronutrients and made me think more intuitively about food. Relying on this tool takes away my anxiety about food choices and less perfectionistic about micronutrients etc. Menu-planning Thanks to the many filters you can plan out your meals in advance and avoid food waste because you can filter on your (left-over) ingredients or replace ingredients thanks to the swap-feature. This is also my suggestion to add another menu-category focusing on recipes that can be made with left-overs 😉. Groceries All the ingredients are automatically added to one list, but you can leave out the items you already have in stock. The items are grouped by the same food sections in any regular supermarket and can be checked off in store. Cooking The instructions are step-by-step listing the amount of the ingredients needed for that step, this makes cooking less overwhelming because you can literally take it one step at a time. So, the combination of the huge database of delicious recipes in combination with the nifty features makes this app definitely worth the price!
This is a great and user friendly app. I’ve slowly trying to convert to vegetariasm (and hopefully veganism in the future) and this app is a tremendous help! The recipes are delicous, and I love the fact that they offer substitutions for ingredients that are sometimes hard to find. Love love love!
I have been waiting for an app like this for years! And it is more perfect then anything I could have imagined. It's also just so fun to fill everything in and work with it and achieve goals haha. It doesn't feel boring or like a chore. It feels like a fun game haha! ✨
Long time fan of the Pick Up Limes vlog and Sadia’s soothing personality. This app is a game changer. I love love love the groceries option ánd the nutrition option. I’ve known the pickuplimes recipes for a while now. You can find them for free on their website. Why pay for this app then, you ask? Because it offers more than recipes. The step-by-step guide while cooking is very handy, with its built-in timer. You can very easily transfer the ingredients needed to your grocery list, and the app automatically sorts them by category. The nutritional info is also very interesting. This way you can track your eating habits and find out if you are eating all the food groups sufficiently. You can add your own recipes to the app as well. My one criticism would be that, when adding your own ingredients, the app does not recognise anything that isn’t vegan. I get their perspective - their whole message is to go plantbased. But for people making the transition it would be nice to be able to add the sushi they occasionally eat to their “nourish” information. That’s the only reason I’m giving this app 4 stars and not 5.
Ik ben zo blij met deze app. Prachtige foto’s, duidelijk, super leuke feature’s. Je kan zelf recepten erbij voegen, de voedingswaarde opzoeken en verder is hij heel simpel in gebruik. Top!
