What should the interior dimensions be? Who knows. -- steve akimbo, 2024-04-02 ### ***-- "Can’t “weight” the Matt" Most images when matted are not equally distant on all 4 sides. This calculator only allows you to do an equally distant mat width on all 4 sides. Most images to be framed will have a “weighted” lower portion of the mat to be “heavier” a.k.a. wider.This app won’t let you do that. Too bad otherwise it works great. -- graphix_geek, 2022-08-02 ### ***-- "Good for basic mounting" The interface is clean, and very intuitive. I bought this only for the matting feature, so I have not assessed the framing elements. For basic matting it should do a great job. The biggest missing feature, for me, is the option to have different border widths on the top and bottom of the mat. There are options for a single width, and for symmetric horizontal and vertical widths, but nothing to allow weighting of the mat.
