Not a replacement for knowledge
I like this app and use it a lot. Most of the time it is bang on. However, it is important to see it as suggestion a starting point for your own research and identification, rather than as a replacement for this, as like any app it can be wrong and cannot be relied upon. If you are using it to forage and eat mushrooms this is all the more important. Learn how to identify key species and differentiate them from the toxic species that may look similar at first glance. It’s easy to be lazy, but doesn’t give you key knowledge to identify species yourself. So use alongside books and maybe even a course.

It’s a sick app, doesn’t always give an accurate ID but usually points you in the right direction which is super helpful

I cancelled my subscription and was charged a premium subscription, I went on App Store an cancelled it the same day of purchase because it didn’t work. The a week later I’m charged full wack premium. This is so frustrating. I wouldn’t trust it!! It not Evan like they charged me a week. They charged me a YEAR. Crazy don’t recommend at all!!!!!

Just started taking interest in mushroom s very enjoyable
Charges without consent
DO NOT DOWNLOAD . Just discovered that I have been charged for an annual subscription without knowingly giving consent. I am very careful with this so it must have been very underhand. I tested it out for a few days only last summer and haven’t used it since.
Love this app!
I’ve had this app for four years and it’s probably the only one that has consistently been on my phone and never deleted. I love using it when I go for walks, it has definitely helped me learn about the weird and wonderful types of mushrooms out there! It’s really great how when identifying a mushroom, it gives you similar results from other users. It makes it so much easier to choose correctly. If you’re a nature lover and mushroom enthusiast I would definitely recommend this app!
Educational and entertaining
Educational and entertaining, it sometimes doesn’t have very detailed statistics but more than often in gives you very good information on any fungus or mushroom you point the camera at amazing fun.
Works fine but just hate the mandatory credit card thing
App works fine, it’s their right to set up in a way that you pay for forgetting to cancel the subscription after the free trial, and it’s my right to leave a 1 star review for finding this very annoying
