Usually the logbook apps just log the flights so to give you the total hours and maybe a couple of functions more (so something that even an excel file can do but for free); crewlounge, instead, offers an infinte amount of functionalities, statistics and very impressive systems. For example you can import rosters directly through the app so that all your flights are already saved as drafts and you’ll just have to put the final times once you’ll fly the sector. To log the times they also have 2 really amazing functionalities: the ACARS reader and the ADS-B call, they make logging sectors faster so that you can save time. One very important aspect is that the customer support is amazing! They always reply very quickly (I’m talking about few minutes) even at really late/early times and they are always incredibly kind, available, professional and respectful. They also really care about your issues and they solve them very quickly. I can only strongly suggest this app to all the pilots out there, this is by far the best there is on the market and inexpensive. The functionalities that I mentioned are just a couple as an example, the app offers an infinite choice of them. This Company is amazing! They offer integrated APP and services, covering the handling of Pilot’s situations and syncing needs, well above expectations. Once started using their services and products, everything is becoming easy, synced, backed up, recorded… They must have very capable “brains and hands”: they were able to setup the data export from the impenetrable CAAC APP (Chinese). Then I told them about a new Company, and within few days they were able to import the roster from their calendar. “Give them a problem to solve, and they create a solution”. Great!" I’m a Captain and I work in Europe for a main airline. I decided to change from another e-logbook to CrewLouge AERO PILOTLOG and the experience is going well. The transition has been smooth and when I was in trouble the support staff helped me trough any issue in a quick and professional way. I can recommend it thanks to its friendly interface, the support team and the right price. I suggest the developers to improve the “duty function” which is a bit limited to FDP and the user cannot force any other duty (such as ground duties, courses etc). In some phases a desktop PC or MAC is essential and the application is a bit limited; it would be better to have an app less dependent by a PC. Well, after several months, I consider myself as a completely happy customer. The interface is user friendly, nice and intuitive; plenty of options for every customization and need. I can log and synchronize my flights from any device; I can also obtain an output from an unlimited number of queries. The software runs perfectly in all my Apple devices (MacBook, Ipad Pro and Iphone), but also in my old pc with win10. The migration of the original database required attention and care, but every effort was well worth because the new platform is definitely faster and smooth. Last but not least, I want to point out the efficiency of the Customer Support: those guys are able to solve any problem, you can count on them if you require assistance.
