APP stürzt beim zoomen ab. Reproduzierbar! POI wird langsam besser.. allerdings hat Jeppesen mit dem letzten Update mächtig aufgeholt. Und wie in Rezessionen vor 11 J geschrieben, Landsteile werden in lokaler Sprache beschrieben. Siehe China. Wie kann man da eine Durchsage machen. ? Inzwischen benutzen einige Kollegen Maps.me. Die Karte ersetzt auf keinen Fall die gute alte Enroute Chart, da keine FIR Frequenzen vorhanden sind. Trip Erstellung ist umständlich, insbesondere wenn es einen Waypoints zwei oder dreimal gibt (Software nimmt dann den am weiteste entfernten). Daten/Karten Auflösung könnt noch eine oder zwei Stufen tiefer gehen (HD) .. Man bezahlt ja fast 60€ .. (Ein alter Schulatlas hat mehr...) Gruß 744-FO -- Pilotfly-747, 2014-04-05 ### ****- "Ansatz gut, aber noch viel Spielraum für Verbesserungen" Nachdem ich die App einige Wochen an Bord im Interkontinentalverkehr nutzte, habe ich sie wieder von meinem iPad verbannt, da sie nicht wirklich zufriedenstellend nutzbar war. Die Entwickler liefern aber erfreulicherweise ein Update nach dem anderen, so dass ich der App erneut eine Chance geben wollte. Die neuen HD Maps bieten immer noch keine zusätzliche Information, ihr Nutzen ist immer noch fraglich. Die App selbst wurde aber deutlich überarbeitet. Die Bedienung ist um einiges flüssiger geworden und vor allem die seltsame Helligkeitssteuerung wurde korrigiert. Gut so! Auch das Feature, nur Airports mit einer Mindestbahnlänge anzuzeigen, ist sehr nützlich. Wenn man jetzt noch zusätzlich andere Kriterien angeben könnte (asphaltiert, Fire Fighting Category, ...), wäre diese Funktion perfekt. Trotzdem ist noch nicht alles gut: - Nach wie vor gibt es viel zu wenig "touristische" Information (Gebirge, Täler, Landstriche), der Nutzen für vernünftige Ansagen ist immer noch mager. Aber genau DAFÜR würde ich den Pilot's Atlas brauchen. - Die Beschriftung von Flüßen, Städten und Gebirgen existiert üblicherweise nur in jeweiliger Landessprache (samt zugehöriger Schriftzeichen). Wünschenswert und viel praxisnäher wäre eine durchgehende englische Beschriftung (und idealerweise einer zweiten wählbaren Sprache) für Bordansagen. - Beschriftung in den Karten ist immer noch teilweise unleserlich klein. - Die Kartendarstellung ist teilweise arg zäh beim Zoomen und Scrollen (trotz iPad 3). Eine Optimierung täte m.E. Not. Es tut sich etwas. Zwar gibt es immer noch reichlich Ecken und Kanten, der Preis der Karten ist nach wie vor happig (die Breitling Werbeeinblendungen bei dem Preis dann tatsächlich eine Frechheit), aber die Entwickler scheinen sich tatsächlich Mühe zu geben, aus der App eine brauchbare Sache zu machen. Die kontinuierlichen Verbesserungen würdige ich mit einem zusätzlichen Stern. Bitte nicht nachlassen, Pilots Atlas könnte dann tatsächlich das versprochene Tool werden! -- Saphon, 2013-11-05 ### ***-- "Not the Same" I really like the absolute Zero atlas. The App. Version is NOT as good as the paper version. Different colors for the maps, different symbols, less details. You can't zoom in detail. A lot of things have to be adjusted to give the user the same feeling as he is using the paper version. Also the drop down menus are not the best why to use the App. Symbols like waypoints etc Must have a button to be deselected/selected in the main window. Just like when you are using Lido maps. And the Price is twice as much!!! Habe lange auf die iPad-Version gewartet und bin leider enttäuscht. Der Massstab 1:1.600 000 ist viel zu klein, um etwas gut zu erkennen. Die Farbwahl z.B für Wegpunkte - weiss auf rot - ist schlecht lesbar. Verschiedene Informationen überlagern sich, so dass man nur über die selektive Zu- oder Abwahl etwas lesen kann, wenn es nicht zu klein geschrieben ist. Wenn ich mich nicht verrechnet habe, müsste doch 1cm auf dem iPad 16km in Natur entsprechen. Dies ist aber nicht der Fall, dh der Masstab ist sogar noch kleiner als angegeben! Ich finde, es ist zu viel Wert auf die mobile Benutzung als auf Lesbarkeit gelegt worden. Ich habe im Grunde den Papieratlas erweitert um mobile Gimmicks erwartet. Der Preis im Vergleich zum Papieratlas ist zu hoch! Warum gibt es auf der Website Beispielbilder des Papieratlasses mit Zoomstufe 3 (sehr gut lesbar!), aber in der App kann ich diese Zoomstufe nicht erreichen?
