Needs more content, otherwise good
The learning style is weird, it’s not like usual but funny enough, it works. And works really really well. Currently learning Urdu. It’s actually been almost a breeze with the app, I think if you want to learn between here and duo lingo are certainly the places both with different styles of teaching, however the range of languages offered on this app are second to none. 70+ languages can’t wait till I find my next one.
Having to make an account just to see that the language I’d like to learn isn’t there, yet other languages that are less populated are.
Easy to use and carefully designed lessons.
I have tried all the language apps while trying to learn French. This is certainly the app, I have got furthest with learning French. You can’t subscribe monthly which is great. It builds you up slowly. The initial 30-40 minutes audio allows me to listen on my commute and then sit down later to do the exercices. I would like a transcript to accompany the audio though as I prefer to see how the language and words look while listening.
I used this to understand some basic conversation in Egyptian Arabic. My friends in Egypt have been impressed by my basic skills. I hope to improve.
Learning by listening and repeating is the best way to learn a lan. It’s the only way my old brain can absorb languages. I listen every morning while I’m getting ready for work.
I was trying to learn french on here and then when i was starting, suddenly it started playing a voice recording half an hour long and i could not understand anything. Its also not very useful how it starts you off on an intermediate level.
Great learning tool and an easy to use App Excellent.
