I’ve always had a pleasant experience with the provider, that’s why I’ve rejoined.
The app is good. Works well. However I can’t say enough how horrible of an experience it is to be chatting to a consultant to solve 1 query for 3+ hours. They do their work just fine, but I’d love to be able to actually speak to someone, get them to understand my query as quickly as possible
You know switching insurance companies comes with its own risk. Like ditching a worse insurance company and falling into the one that's even worst. But my switch from my previous insurance company to Pineapple proved me wrong because I'm now in my 5th month insured with Pineapple and their service is great.
After multiple attempts to speak to someone I never get a response nor any assistance. I have been trying to reach out to them for over a year to update my contact number to no avail, I’ve been trying to resolve a claim since November 2023 but here I sit it’s April 2024 and still no success and very limited to almost no communication from them. This isn’t my 1st claim with them but it’s certainly been the worst experience, I have tried everything to get hold of them and nothing no one ever calls or reaches out. I’ve had multiple policy issues as well not to mention the blatant lack of customer service or willingness to assist. I would never recommend or ever use pineapple again. If it is at all possible to get my claim sorted I will be moving over to another insurer as moving forward I simply don’t feel comfortable nor trust the pineapple team.
Good app user friendly
The rates are reasonable, but I guess you get what you pay for cause the customer service is non existent. It’s impossible to get ahold of anyone and when you do they are rather useless
All is rainbows and sunshine’s when you are claim free. The moment you need to claim, which I had to due to someone else crashing into my vehicle. Pineapple has not been helpful. They charged me extra R6000 excess for their mistake coding the accident times wrong. And now they are avoiding me and giving me a run around trying to get answers. The worst customer service I have experienced in my life. Don’t recommend at all!!!!
App keeps crashing. Also, you ask too many questions to which you already have answers to. Deleted the app by day 2 because it couldn’t even load.
Excellent service and premiums are very competitive
