The patented technology measures and analyzes five key performance indicators in the putting stroke; 1) closing angle; 2) impact angle; 3) tempo; 4) lie angle and 5) shaft lean. These stroke metrics, combined with detailed input from the golfer, are analyzed by a proprietary fitting algorithm which recommends the proper stroke type, length, loft, lie and weight for a PING putter. The iPING 2.0 app offers five modes: 1) Guided Fit: Club fitting professionals recommend putter specifications by considering a variety of metrics; wrist-to-floor measurements, posture, gripping style, miss tendencies, green speed and speed performance in conjunction with hitting five (5) 10 ft. putts. In this mode, putter comparisons can also be made and quantified. 2) Single Putt: Club fitting professionals recommend putter specifications by capturing three (3) 10 ft. putts. Ideal for golf shop settings and quickly classifying a player’s Stroke Type. 3) Practice session: Allows club fitting and teaching professionals to measure single-stroke metrics during a putting lesson. 4) Live Loft and Lie: Allows club fitting and teaching professionals to measure loft and lie in real-time. 5) Co-Pilot Mode: Using PING Co-Pilot on the computer, tablet, or mobile device, this mode will allow fitters to seamlessly pair iPING on iOS to PING Co-Pilot for a new and updated putter fitting experience. At this time, the iPING 2.0 app is intended for use by authorized PING retailers and club fitters only. All technical support and availability of accessories will only be available to authorized PING club fitters and retailers. ## PING Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple112/v4/0c/34/26/0c3426f1-9c9b-752e-ae0d-418cad25d8fc/639a2604-2445-4d74-88ed-24e8aff6afd9_Jul22_lg-01-Home_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple112/v4/a9/42/60/a9426020-c9f9-2a7c-907b-fa290440a3d0/317a88ad-fdd9-4eae-a840-6d3f286e6aa9_Jul22_lg-03-LiveLoftLie_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple122/v4/ca/67/68/ca676815-f355-e350-a658-76d3845d511e/b659a18a-9a27-4b92-a2b0-a8e793501d00_Apr21_lg-04-BodyMeasure_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple122/v4/4d/55/2e/4d552e11-83a2-c565-fc65-be39f10a05c2/2c0a656a-0c2e-4cbd-8815-1b797ab26e45_Apr21_lg-05-PuttingStyle_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple122/v4/db/a7/35/dba7351f-2a08-25a9-bf79-50621ff4352d/17169c5f-8ee5-49b7-b0fb-8d3b2c7c04d7_Jul22_lg-06-5Putts_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple112/v4/93/2e/b7/932eb7b5-8b29-4d52-23ef-2ecde7f63951/72287f81-c3cc-4872-85a4-fe1461c38e47_Apr21_lg-07-PuttsMetrics_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/53/90/0d/53900df2-9db6-a3dd-b827-7de7f9ae6826/21ca1bb4-c018-40ad-8549-f8a57b70ef3f_Sep22_lg-08-Model_iphone11promax-1242x2688_copy.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple122/v4/1e/99/a5/1e99a558-bad9-590c-21d9-319fa62537de/3890b3b0-8c67-428b-aa78-564d3368cd36_Apr21_lg-09-ConfigSpecs_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple112/v4/cb/b0/6d/cbb06d74-3b81-957e-1a4b-8449ec4672b4/873ae9e8-4318-4916-836f-980ef1768243_Jul22_lg-10-Compare_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple112/v4/e3/f5/dd/e3f5dd01-c9cc-258c-b68d-1011b03629b6/6ffc1b6a-550e-4784-b9c4-185aa12df42b_Jul22_lg-11-ColorCodeFit_iphone11promax-1242x2688.png/1242x2688.png) ## PING Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 16 (17%) - 4 stars: 7 (8%) - 3 stars: 5 (5%) - 2 stars: 1 (1%) - 1 stars: 64 (69%) ## PING Reviews in United States ### *---- "Doesn’t work" Love the idea and have a couple ping putters in mind to try out and hopefully buy. But the putting stroke portion of the app doesn’t actually work. From what I hear it’s for fitters only. None around me anywhere that have this option. -- webtron, 2024-05-11 ### ****- "Don’t need acct" Sign in as guest no account Ping Ping Ping 310 8375309 Easy as pie, fitting account just allows you to save everything. This will at least get u your swing type. -- Scizo13, 2020-10-19 ### *---- "update killed 3 years worth of golf rounds data" I hade been using and enjoying the Apple Watch app since it was introduced and cannot figure out why PING deleted all of my old rounds. I had even paid $ for additional features. There was no warning, it simply vanished from my watch. I want my $ back!!! -- Shifty.Drifty, 2020-08-02 ### *---- "Let everyone use this app!!" Why limit the app to fitters only, I loved using the original app and was shocked the new version is restricted. Took a great thing and ruined it!! -- azrelo, 2020-07-30 ### *---- "Ping sells something I can’t use" They sell—and charge—for the putting/iPhone cradle. It requires Ping’s app. When I tried to use it, it requires an authorized (by Ping) professional. As a fan of Ping clubs, I am deeply disappointed. This is close to a swindle. I thought better of this company and respected the brand. -- JohnLePetomane, 2020-05-14 ### *---- "Bought an Accessory then they cancelled access" Bought an accessory from ping to use this app and then shortly after they removed my access to the app. Ping is normally one of the most customer focused golf companies but this move leaves a very sour taste in my mouth and upset a lot of people. I don’t understand why they would remove access to the app. -- Thrice3, 2020-05-14 ### *---- "Update wish they would allow purchasers to use the app during Covid isolation. Horrible update." Long time Ping user. The new update messed everything up. Was looking to practice putting with the app over the winter months. Of no use to the golfer only fitters. Old app was better. -- friscognome, 2020-04-29 ### *---- "What?" I had loved this app and was looking for ways to get my newer iphone to attach to the putter but with this new update it is no longer a useable app for me. Ping fitters only, how does that help me practice? -- PapaBall17, 2020-04-28 ### *---- "Joke" The IT at ping needs to the blamed. Why not keep the old app and create a new one for fitters. Crazy stuff -- GT1981#, 2020-04-17 ### *---- "Bring back the putting app!" This updated app is not for the public! Bring back the other app so people can practice putting at home! What a terrible terrible decision by Ping! -- TooPatient, 2020-04-02 [View all PING reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## PING Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Norway | Sports | #220 | ## PING Discovered Keywords -
