Play single- or double-deck with configurable options, including meld bids and shoot the moon. Pinochle Gold has more tabletops and more card back options than Pinochle Plus and is updated frequently with user-suggested features and AI improvements. To try before you buy, see our free, ad-supported Pinochle app. Pinochle is a card game played with a 48- or 80-card deck of 9s, 10s, jacks, queens, kings and aces. The game consists of a repeating sequence of bidding (for the right to name the trump suit and optionally to pass cards), melding, and trick-taking. Players score points by melding various card combinations and by taking tricks. In this version, one human player (South) plays with a computer partner (North) and two computer opponents (West and East). BIDDING: Each player bids the number of points she thinks she can make with her hand. Player to the dealer's left is required to bid, and bidding proceeds to the left. Players who pass are out of the bidding for that hand. A typical high bid is 35 points (for 48 cards) or 60 (for 80 cards). High bidder names the trump suit for the hand and optionally exchanges cards with her partner. MELDING: Players get points by showing various card combinations. A run (or straight) in the trump suit is worth 15 points. Aces in all four suits is 10 points. Pinochle (queen of spades and jack of diamonds) is 4 points, or 30 points for double pinochle (two of each). TRICKS: Play begins with the high bidder, and proceeds around the table to the left, 4 cards per trick. Each trick has a winner, who gets 1 point per ace, ten or king. SCORING: If the high bidder fails to make the bid (his team's total meld plus trick points is less than the bid), the bid amount is subtracted from the team score. Play continues until one team goes out. ## Pinochle Gold Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple221/v4/b9/28/51/b928511c-5aa2-34e7-517c-64af44a40e0b/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple211/v4/ce/6e/72/ce6e726e-0735-7c37-86ea-ed085009027f/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple221/v4/cf/3e/7d/cf3e7d13-6dd5-a41c-4075-7fc562549387/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple211/v4/05/06/58/05065892-a166-986a-3768-e5054c0c25e7/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple211/v4/fc/09/2e/fc092ebb-db8c-aabf-39d6-ef8d7e72c343/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple211/v4/f8/b0/c3/f8b0c363-8ed6-7176-9f2f-63c274a1e5c1/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple221/v4/f9/90/ad/f990ad51-2feb-b26b-3493-31179d3a8479/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple221/v4/f2/c6/2f/f2c62fef-d5ab-94f5-7181-babee067dbb7/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple211/v4/49/93/4b/49934bad-90f8-35f7-9d51-48f351445163/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple221/v4/f6/91/cd/f691cda6-9610-142a-75e5-5c12e4da9028/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) ## Pinochle Gold Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 1,192 (83%) - 4 stars: 166 (12%) - 3 stars: 38 (3%) - 2 stars: 22 (2%) - 1 stars: 18 (1%) ## Pinochle Gold Reviews in United States ### ***** "Super Duper, good player!" 'i can win against every computer!!!! -- erzsebet_83, 2024-05-28 ### **--- "Bill" You get 1 good hand the other players get 20 good hands . Your team will win mostly without you! -- Mine40windber, 2024-04-19 ### ***** "Awesome Game" I configured it to play 90% similar to the way we play in Philadelphia. Love the app, highly recommend it. -- TaconyBoy, 2023-10-23 ### ****- "Vision problems" I think the score board should be under Norths cards or above South for easier reading- I would like cards to alternate colors because for people with vision problems would could see them better vs thinking they have a run when actually they have diamonds and hearts together and bid accordingly. -- Old sight, 2023-05-24 ### ****- "My partner" Could use more common sense -- dconnick, 2023-03-24 ### ***** "Unfair bidding and hands" How is it when East and west bring in a bid with no aces then his partner has all four of them? How can they get back to back double runs or 1000 aces. How come the other team always remember every trump that is played. -- Gene Morris, 2022-11-14 ### ***-- "Too easy" I’ve been “throwing ’knucks” since I learned 30 years ago while in the Air Force. The number of double runs in this game is unrealistic. I also have to actively try to lose and sometimes I still end up winning. I’m good but not that good. Please add difficulty levels and make the most difficult level really challenging. Otherwise the interface and usability is phenomenal. Kudos the design. -- damenjackson70, 2022-04-29 ### *---- "Not true multiplayer" cannot invite three friends to play the game. Worthless! -- MasterQwirkle, 2022-01-17 ### ****- "Pinochle" Great game except North will not pass 10. He will pass the K,Q,J before passing a 10. Also, I’ve found North to bid a 3 card suit when he has a better 4 card suit and will fold too easily after I’ve bid. -- titus a. tick, 2021-12-22 ### ***** "Enjoy the options" I enjoy the options given playing pinochle gold. You can replay a hand, show all cards which is handy for learning, shoot the moon, and much more. -- Jane.from Minnesota, 2021-11-22 [View all Pinochle Gold reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Pinochle Gold Discovered Keywords - pinochle gold ## Pinochle Gold Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/canada) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/united-kingdom) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/germany) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/norway) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/finland) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/australia) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/belarus) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/switzerland) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/chile) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/colombia) - [Cyprus](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/cyprus) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/czechia) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/denmark) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/dominican-republic) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/algeria) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/ecuador) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/egypt) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/spain) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/france) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/greece) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/hong-kong) - [Hungary](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/hungary) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/indonesia) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/ireland) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/israel) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/india) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/iceland) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/italy) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/japan) - [Kenya](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/kenya) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/kuwait) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/kazakhstan) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/lebanon) - [Madagascar](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/madagascar) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/mexico) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/nigeria) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/netherlands) - [Nepal](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/nepal) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/new-zealand) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/peru) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/philippines) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/pakistan) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/poland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/portugal) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/romania) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/russia) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/saudi-arabia) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/sweden) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/singapore) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/thailand) - [Tunisia](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/tunisia) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/turkey) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/taiwan) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/ukraine) - [Uganda](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/uganda) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/vietnam) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/united-arab-emirates) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/south-africa) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/argentina) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/austria) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/azerbaijan) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/belgium) - [Bahrain](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/bahrain) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/pinochle-gold-tUtg/brazil) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
