Full screen ads!" I’ve been using this app for years and it works well for my purposes, but the 5.16.1703 update was a major mistake. Now, in addition to the banner ad (just a minor nuisance) there are occasionally full screen ads which are very obnoxious! I’d revert back to the previous version if I could. Don’t make the mistake I did, don’t update to this version! -- DarkFox7, 2024-10-20 ### *---- "Suddenly can’t click on lightning bolt icons" Dear Pinpoint Weather app developers: a key feature is suddenly not working. You can no longer click on the lightning bolt icons on the radar map to see the time and type of the lightning strike. Please fix this ASAP! That feature is what made this weather app truly the best. This app used to be best the Denver weather app by a long shot because: (1) the precipitation radar was more precise and accurate than every other weather app I’ve tried; (2) it would real-time add a lightning bolt icon to the radar map in the exact location of the strike; and (3) you could click on any lightning bolt icon on the radar map to see the time of the strike and the type of strike (e.g., cloud-to-cloud, etc.). Numbers (1) and (2) are still true, so it’s still a good weather app, but (3) is no longer true. You can no longer click on a lightning bolt icon to see the time or type of strike. I can’t imagine the app developers disabled this feature on purpose. Developers, please fix this ASAP! -- wolfesdad, 2024-07-27 ### ***** "Great app..." I have been using this app for a couple of years now. The radar/s are excellent; the only thing missing is pollen counts and alerts!! -- InfinitelyWeinachtsfest, 2024-06-09 ### *---- "Terrible" So many times it’s literally raining on me and the app shows nothing on the radar. And if it was a 20% chance earlier that it might rain but is now pouring on me, maybe change it to 100%? Nope. Still 20% and still nothing on the radar. Why don’t they just see what weather channel is doing and report that. And they keep advertising it as the most accurate weather app. Jeez that’s terrifying. What else is fox news completely blind amd ignorant about?😂 -- pherod, 2024-04-29 ### *---- "Worst app ever" When I click on the articles tab it’s because I want to quickly read a summary of the weather before leaving for work. Instead of being able to read the article I get bombarded by repeated video ads that automatically open up and have to close the out before I can read. Doesn’t matter how accurate the forecast is if you can’t read it. So much for “performance” improvements. -- Totally, totally Frustrated, 2024-04-26 ### *---- "Too many ads" Not worth watching a 1 minute ad to see a 2 minute forecast! -- dutch00000, 2024-03-29 ### *---- "Unreliable" At one time the app was good. It has now become completely unreliable. -- EsBusman, 2024-02-07 ### ***** "Great app. Wish the online instructions were a little better" I’ve learned to make this very useful. I love that I can select, for example, precipitation, clouds, and temperature from the menu (3 vertical dots) at the bottom right of the screen. Then with the menu still open I can go to overlays at the bottom and select storm track and lightning and have what I’ll call fans show on the radar view. Those fans are storms. Touch the vertex and the severity of the storm is displayed including the size of hail if appropriate. It’s incredible to have this in the palm of my hand on a free app. -- Me in NM, 2023-09-04 ### **--- "This weather app is very inaccurate!" I have been using this app every day and it is never right with the future weather that is going to happen. I am deleting this app from my phone because I’m so mad. I had a real terrible hail storm come through and I had no warning whatsoever until the storm was at my house which was a little bit too late. Very disappointed! -- cinholstee, 2023-07-08 ### ***-- "Please add" I like the app. Please add a widget so we add it to the Home Screen on the phone. -- FitzFit13, 2022-04-16 [View all Pinpoint Weather reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Pinpoint Weather Discovered Keywords - pinpoint weather - kdvr - pinpoint - fox 31 pinpoint weather - fox 31 weather - fox 31 - fox 31 news - denver weather - wkmg ## Apps Similar to Pinpoint Weather - [9 StormTrack](https://apptail.io/app/9-stormtrack-MCU/united-states) - [KFVS12 First Alert Weather](https://apptail.io/app/kfvs12-first-alert-weather-yztb/united-states) - [News 6 Pinpoint Weather WKMG](https://apptail.io/app/news-6-pinpoint-weather-wkmg-KJtb/united-states) - [KRGV FIRST WARN 5 Weather](https://apptail.io/app/krgv-first-warn-5-weather-PRub/united-states) - [WIBW 13 Weather app](https://apptail.io/app/wibw-13-weather-app-QZub/united-states) - [KWTX Weather](https://apptail.io/app/kwtx-weather-gavb/united-states) - [KXAN Weather](https://apptail.io/app/kxan-weather-rsvb/united-states) - [KSAT 12 Weather Authority](https://apptail.io/app/ksat-12-weather-authority-tsvb/united-states) - [NOAA Radar US: Tornado Tracker](https://apptail.io/app/noaa-radar-us-tornado-tracker-VcNc/united-states) - [METAR AF](https://apptail.io/app/metar-af-VlWj/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
