I love scrolling Pinterest and interact with pins but sadly I can’t scroll without being bombarded with ads masquerading as pins. It’s so disappointing. No real content anymore. Ads ads ads

Pinterest on my phone is practically unusable and virtually useless at this point. I’ve been on Pinterest for about a decade, I have saved close to 20k pins. I have dozens and dozens of boards. Now it is so clogged with ads that it’s nothing more than a marketing cash grab by the developers. At least 50% of your phone screen will be ads at any given moment. They switch from being on the right, to on the left, to covering the entire page. They’re completely unavoidable, making it difficult to see the real pins and scroll with any amount of pleasure. I used to happily scroll for hours, now I only use the app if I’m waiting for an appointment or otherwise killing time.

I love Pinterest, but literally no human is moderating the “adult content” reports, so any pins reported as adult content get deactivated without question. I’ve lost tons of pose references that have been posted for artists all because no one can be bothered to actually assess whether it’s adult content or not. An actual moderation team of real humans would do wonders and be able to work within the nuance of what is artistic and what is not, but I don’t see that happening. Still one of the better image boards despite all the AI and lack of actual moderation, but you’ll never be what you once were.

I cant download my pins to my gallery, not sure what happened to the feature. Long pressing the image doesn't offer the option. The three horizontal dots that previously offered the option have disappeared. Have cleared cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, no success. Hoping this is fixed soon, have some great pins Id like to use as wallpapers. This is the only thing holding it back from 5 starts

Can’t get pictures to open sometimes one or two the rest are blank.
