Description
PiPifier is an Action extension for Safari that lets you use every HTML5 (thats about every web video on iOS) video in Picture in Picture mode.
If you have an HTML5 video playing on any website like Youtube just press PiPifier in Safari's Webtools Menu to enable Picture-In-Picture for this video.
With this extension you can even run PiP mode on sites that hide the native video controls (so that you can not enable PiP there)
Usage:
1. Open Safari
2. Open the Webtools Menu (aA)
3. Choose Manage Extensions
4. Enable 'PiPifier'
5. Select 'PiPifier' on a website with a video

Doesn’t play when the slightest pin drop is heard
I hate this with a burning passion. Fix the issue or I’m deleting this stupid app.

Tried. Failed. Probably a setting i missed or youtube now blocking pip.
Great
But since the iOS update to 17.1 if I skip adds from YouTube the video plays at a zoomed in point and I have to close the window and open it again to get full video

Works perfectly if you follow instructions
Download the app, follow the instructions the app gives you onscreen. Press the Aa next to the web bar on safari to get to Manage Extensions and enable it as an option. Then go to the website with the video on it, press the Aa again and press the Pipifier - boom, it’s PinP! Great stuff 👍🏻 PiP should be available by default in this day and age of multi-tasking!

I love it so much but at first I didn’t understand the instructions so if you are struggling I recommend watching a tutorial like I did but other than that the app is super useful!.
Won’t work for me at all on iOS 16 but ok on older devices
Followed the very basic instructions on the very basic screen the app is (I know it’s more of an extension than an app) but can’t get anything to play as it’s not showing up when I go to share. A good half hour wasted,but then… I tried it out on my iPads & got what’s advertised! PiP on iOS 12.5.5 and on 15.something. I hope it gets an update to include the latest firmware as I got it for that device although it will be useful on others it’s my main device I carry so will get far more use on that. I’ll come back and give it five stars soon as I can use it on iOS 16. If you have that firmware I’d suggest leaving it until pipifier is updated for the latest.
