Description

Pippo is an integrated online patient portal, developed by Clanwilliam Health and it aims to continue our work to digitise GP practices. By allowing appointments to be booked online Pippo aims to reduce the number of calls to practices and to free up staff to focus on providing the best possible patient care. Pippo is the only patient information portal that fully integrates with Clanwilliam Health’s GP systems to allow a patient to make an instant appointment booking, whenever and wherever suits them.
Please note Pippo is currently only available for Irish GP Practices and you must be a registered patient of practice that is using Pippo in order to use the app.
About Pippo
Pippo makes booking your GP appointments simple. Download the app, register with your GP practice and start booking your appointments online. It’s that easy! You can even add your children to the Pippo app and book their appointments directly from your phone. With Pippo you’ll never have to wait on hold to reach your GP. We will continue to develop Pippo to add in other functionality which makes it easy for patients to communicate with their GP’s.
Pippo also features an integrated payments solution which means (if enabled by a practice) that you can book and pay for your appointments online, meaning all you have to do is go to your GP practice. Pippo is designed to make booking appointments easier for patients and practices. It is completely integrated with Clanwilliam Health’s software systems, Socrates and Helix Practice Manager. This means that practices can manage their online appointments directly from their practice management system.
This is good for patients too as it means appointments can be booked at any time of the day or night, without having to call your practice. Our API ensures that appointments cannot be double booked and that you only see time slots that are available to be booked online.

Pippo Reviews

Not great

Chloegirl1998 on

Ireland

Tried to sign up using the app with a UK number and the verification text never comes through! I’ve sent a few complaints to the main webpage but nothing done about it. It’s a shame!

Not working

Jay4n2o on

Ireland

I’ve been trying since yesterday and when open it it’s just a white page

Unreliable

HarBym on

Ireland

Like others have mentioned, this app is unreliable. I often open it to a blank screen so can’t use it. Because of the app my surgery will no longer accept repeat prescriptions by email so I’m worse off with it…a waste of time!

Blank screen

SquashBloss on

Ireland

After many many many failed download attempts at my GP’s request, this app only shows a blank white screen for me and doesn’t provide any login information, much less the ability to book appointments or request prescriptions.

Not very functional

Pricessabean on

Ireland

Keeps coming up blank like not loading. Won’t go into the login/register. Have tried deleting app and reinstalling with no success. Going through webpage it won’t send a reset password to my email after saying my password was also wrong. Very frustrating.

Great idea but the app does not work

LittleCupcakeBigWorld.com on

Ireland

Unable to select appointment type from the drop down menu. Have tried on phone and tablet and it’s always the same. Unable to book an appointment as a result.

Dreadful

Gareth360 on

I seldom go out of my way to review apps unless they are exceptional, this is in the worst possible ways. Th user experience is brutal from the outset in that there is no “remember my username” no integration with device authentication such as face-id to smooth the login process which is very poor given the login validity is so short and you find yourself constantly logging back in when coming back to the app to check on things. Then there is the payment handling - no ability to save cards- this is basic functionality as I don’t want to be typing in card details all the time ! Further and as you probably expect there is no device integration to Apple Pay / G-Pay so all in all the experience for the user is about as bad as it can get, lastly there is no access ability options and as this is a man app targeting the medical practitioners this is a very significant miss. All in this app looks and feels like it was written by a 10 year old given how well it works as a useful tool, if only I could give it 0/5 but 1 is as low as it can go
