## Pita Pit NZ Reviews in New Zealand

### *---- "Deceptive advertising - terrible customer experience"
Decieved into downloading app, pita pit didn’t make good on promotional offer
-- Bbaklnz, 2025-10-29

### *---- "Fake and Scam"
They had a promotion that if you sign up for their app, they give you a free Pita. Then a few minutes later they removed all the free pita vouchers. They essentially lured people’s email addresses and personal information to sell to private buyers for their own profit, and didn’t even reimburse the public for the privilege of doing so. What a low level business.
-- Aseem, 2025-10-28

### *---- "Broken"
Well the app seems to be abandoned now, hasn't worked in a while now, no point installing this one folks
-- YamiSpyro, 2023-07-19

### *---- "Does not work"
The app opened. I chose an item. The screen went white. I waited patiently. Nothing happened.

I have deleted the app.

I also was unable to complete an order on the website as nothing happened when I clicked Add To Order.
-- Palmy John, 2022-11-05

### *---- "App payment does not work"
App and website payment does not work and prices are different to instore
-- omgilikerocks, 2021-11-07

### *---- "What a brand embarrasment"
Amateurish app with recurrent “location” error. Error has been around for ages and management seem unable, incompetent and unmotivated to fix it. Makes you wonder what else is failing apart in store.
-- Johnstone Placid, 2019-10-05

### *---- "There was a problem loading location information"
App just stopped working one day, A shame as I used to have pita pit every work day. Some of us are on the road and need to fly past and pickup - also there is no way to provide feedback as their head office never answer the phone. If the app let you bypass this error if would be fine - store already selected, i dont need location information
-- DC-HBC-DAD, 2019-10-01

### *---- "Error !!!!! There was a problem loading location information every 3 seconds!!!!!"
The app looks good BUT

You need to get rid of the
Error !!!!!
There was a problem loading location information every 3 seconds!!!!!

It makes the app unusable

Comes back even after deleting and reinstalling

Error!!!!!

Suggest you try another app developer instead of Mobi2go
-- Max xlea, 2019-09-26

### *---- "Buggy"
First of all, just placed my first order using the app and couldn’t open the app again. Also, my email confirmation showed a different order to what I ordered on the app. Of course I couldn’t re-open the app to double check what I actually ordered. Everything was corrected in store as the staff were very friendly. App needs work though.
-- kerpella, 2019-01-02

### *---- "Awfully made app"
As soon as i placed my order the app crashed and wouldnt open
-- Zeeshwa, 2018-05-19

### ***-- "Needs work"
I like that the app allows me to order a pita ahead of time. It was also helpful as I learnt what ingredients I could get grilled. The app would be better if I could view my account details and update them. Also I have no idea about what rewards I have earnt etc.
-- Melinnz1742, 2017-04-01

### **--- "Super flakey app"
Very frustrating app to use. Have come across a number of bugs in the GUI while trying to order/make payment for pitas. It's still better than waiting in line though...
-- Jpotton, 2017-01-08

### *---- "Missing the best place in NZ"
Why is there no Taupo option??
-- Meshel NZ, 2016-08-12

### **--- "Not much use"
Needs to have a barcode so can be used in store rather than needing to use the card.
-- zkpilot, 2016-02-23

### **--- "Average app"
Making an app shouldn't just be a tick-box. If it's no good it's even worse than not having one at all.
The location should just automatically select your closest location, and then you can manually choose if you prefer.
-- NZKiter, 2016-02-05

### **--- "Feature request:"
Save credit card details or at least allow us to paste it in the field. Good app but such an inconvenience.
-- SS_viper, 2015-12-03

### **--- "Why can't I paste my credit card detail :-("
I paste my credit card details on other apps and websites, it ensures I don't make a mistake , why can't I do this on the pita pit app ... Be good if it remembered my credit card details too ... Peter
