## Pitch Perfect (Pitch Pipe) Description
Pitch Perfect is a digital pitch pipe for the musically inclined. Find your starting note before a rehearsal, warm up with your choir, or get a song going with friends. Just press and hold a note to hear it.

Not sure which key goes with the sharps or flats on your sheet music? Match the key signature on the page to the one on your screen, then sound its starting pitch. Keep a list of songs and their keys so you're ready for the next one.

With Pitch Perfect you can:
- Play individual notes or sound several together as a chord.
- Switch to Classic Pitch Pipe in Settings for the original grid of big note buttons.
- See note names and frequencies as you play.
- Set A4 to a reference pitch from 415 to 446 Hz.
- Choose the original pitch-pipe tone, four wave sounds, or instruments such as piano, organ, strings, and choir. Preview sounds in Settings.
- Find starting pitches from major and minor key signatures.
- Add songs, save their keys, and drag to arrange your singing order or sort alphabetically.
- Keep set lists for different groups or gigs, copy songs between them, and switch lists with a tap.
- Sound a note from a Home Screen widget.
- Use light or dark appearance on your phone or tablet.

Sound and tuning choices sync with your account. The original Pitch Perfect tone remains the default.

## Pitch Perfect (Pitch Pipe) Reviews in United States

### ***** "432Hz?"
Love this app, because I can keep a whole set list for our a cappella quartet :-) Would love it if you could add a 432 Hz button like the tonal energy app has.
-- falconer777@, 2024-03-13

### *---- "Poor"
Not good
-- bobfest, 2020-10-22

### ***** "Great for song-leading!"
This app is great! I love the “Songs” page feature where I can save my list of songs and set up their pitches beforehand. Just make sure you lock the rotation on your phone before using; if you press a note and your phone orientation rotates then it will lock that note and keep playing it until you close the app. I only wish I could pay for this app so it would not have the small ads. At least they are not pop-up and disruptive ads. I just have to be careful to not click them. I mostly use this app on airplane mode anyway.
-- Light saber guy 1992536794, 2020-03-01

### *---- "Absolutely horrible"
Imagine the sound of a person chocking on a whole grapefruit. This app glitches a lot and every time it never fails to make that sound at full volume.
-- craftwarrior269, 2019-01-09

### ***-- "No room for bugs in showbiz"
Downloaded this app for an a capella gig. Sweet, I thought, no need to go buy a fancy pitch pipe.

Bugs within the app wreaked havoc on our performance. Ordinarily I would forgive and forget, but there’s no forgetting the horrors of singing Semi-Charmed Life in 4 different keys in front of 100 seniors.

Basically, the app got “stuck” and started playing multiple pitches at once, making it impossible for me to play and hold the “right” pitch :(
-- ::Chuckles::, 2018-07-14

### ****- "Amazing for intonation, would appreciate the slightest bit more flexibility (4.5/5)"
I love using this app. As a cellist, learning intonation is such a pain in the butt. However, practicing using this app as a drone has forced me to listen to myself and has drastically improved my playing (scales suddenly become harder with Pitch Perfect and a metronome going at once). I recommend this app to all of my students and teacher friends.

My only gripe with the app is that I can’t adjust the A to anything other than 440Hz. Classical musicians like anything from 440-443 and I would at least like the option.

4.5/5
-- Tom Valdez, 2017-11-10

### ***** "Love this App!"
Great pitch pipe and I really love the song list feature! But I can't figure out how to sync the list from my Iphone to my IPad using Facebook. Please help! Can someone give me instructions how to do this?
-- appy grandma, 2017-06-17

### **--- "Ew"
Okay, so I think it's helpful… but when you want to enter songs, it won't let you put in bass or alto clef. And that's not helpful for people like me who play trombone and other instruments with the bass or alto clef.
-- Igyvigyvy, 2015-12-07

### *---- "What the crap!?"
I loved this app till the latest update! It lost all of my songs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not happy at all!!!!!! What the crap did you do? Homi , who me? I was able to transfer from i5 to i6 no problem. Now this. I hope you can fix it.
-- Family Clown, 2015-05-16

### ***** "A fantastic tool for ALL musicians"
This app has many of the most important tools for any musician, with a well laid out pitch pipe, a list of notes through several octaves that you can tap to play, and a list of all of the key signatures, all in a fantastic no-nonsense UI.
-- SnakeEyes of doomedededness, 2015-04-08
