Pixel Artist Beware!!
Pixilart has some of the best software out there for creating pixel art, so why two stars?
Let me tell you! In the terms and conditions, it is stated that Bryan / Terphic can use your artwork without paying. He can edit it, post it, etc., all without your knowledge.
Additionally, with the release of “Pixilnumber” he can scrub your artwork of colors and use it in his coloring app.
If you’re fine with all of this, feel free to download. If you aren’t, I suggest finding an alternative app.

Keeps deleting my art also my save art button is just gone
How am I supposed to draw when I can’t even login
I tried for 2 days and every time it says “token failed”
Extremely buggy to the point it’s hard to use
My experience has been terrible with this app, I was happy to know it got a mobile version because I loved the desktop one, but this is horrible, it took a year for 1000x1000 canvas size to come out and when it did it made the app so incessantly buggy and laggy it’s hard to keep using, I can spend up to two hours on a piece then try to duplicate it and it just full on DELETE THE SAVE, if i didn’t download an earlier version I would’ve been screwed, and this is just one of dozens of extremely frequent and frustrating problems

Ngl I loved this before, but now WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO THE APP?????? BECAUSE IT STARTS AT UNTITLED, RIGHT? WELL WHEN I TRY TO REMOVE IT STAYS LIKE THIS. Progress constantly erased on app
I’ll be halfway through a piece of artwork and when I come back to it later it’s all been erased. It’s starting to get annoying.

I am a little half and half about the app
I recently downloaded the app and I have found some issues that I simply cannot overlook.
For one, I mainly use a tablet for this app and the app is always stuck on potrait mode. (I would understand if this app was mainly for phones or if it is a problem to big to resolve).
Another issue I am having is importing phtos from my photo library onto a canvas or to simply just change my profile picture on the app. I had mainly downloaded the app to make it easier to upload and view my media but so far it isn't going well. I have tried to change my profile picture multiple times both on the app and on the website but both wont allow me to change it to the photo of my choice.
My last issue is actually drawing on the app:
1. All my brushes are connected to each other. What I mean by this is that when I change the size of my eraser or another tool, it will also change the size of my pencil and vice versa. This has recently come to my attention and I don't know if it has always been like this.
2. When I leave the app and then come back, my progress is not saved. I find this really annoying because on the website it will always save where you left off.
Other than those problems, I do actually like the app. It is more orginized than the website which I find very refreshing because it helps me find things a lot faster when I need them. I also like how quickly accesible my notifications are. I don't have to click a lot of places anymore to see if I have notfications. I just have to look down to check.
Again, these are small mishaps I have faced that might be due to my internet of just a small glitvh that i can overlook. But this is just my honest review for now.

Whenever I use the bucket tool the app crashes
Good but some things..
I’ve been using the website version of pixilart for a long time. It’s great, and with the mobile app it’s so convenient now to create my work whenever and wherever I am. I think the biggest issue I have is sometime it would crash while I’m working, deleting my progress since the last save. Also, another major issue I think is the community on the website itself. Not that it’s something they can fix really, but it can be very toxic and it’s a bit odd considering how young most of the users are. I think there should be more monitors or something to help with some of these conversations people are having on here.. otherwise, the drawing / posting portion of the app is great. POTD seems a bit random to me as well, I don’t know how they judge work and decide, but I’ve definitely seen some not so great pieces get it but amazing pieces not..
