I love emacs but also like using a normal phone with my notes in a nice interface. Just wanted to say being on a phone brought some sync issues where I’d write updates to a file before the app could download updates. It’s a normal occurrence when you take the subway often. I’ve resorted to combining this app with another one called working copy. It lets me download my notes from a git repository locally, I make my edits on this app and when I’m done I commit back the changes. I thought I’d share this neat trick in case anyone else was like me, apprehensive about losing data and decided against having their org notes on a phone. I might write a hook to ease the flow of pushing and pulling changes but for the most part I’m using it to read things and pulling is easy enough. -- heyoni, 2025-01-05 ### ****- "Awesome to have Orgmode on iOS" This is wonderful ; the power, flexibility and versatility of Emacs Org-mode on iOS. Changing the setting doesn’t persist. Copying and pasting doesn’t work all the time, whether its within the document or from the web. The issue above persists in the scratch app too. Another issue is the keyboard features to write quick notes from the scratch app aren’t there when editing raw text. Lastly, the current dark theme needs to be replaced with a grey or charcoal theme because the current dark theme contrast’s too much with the white text.
