Funktioniert wie gewünscht. Dürfte zusätzlich eine Automatik zum setzen der Messpunkte beinhalten. 
Dennoch zum vermessen anhand Satellitenbild bzw im manuellen Modus für den Einsatz in der Landwirtschaft (schnelles Abschätzen von Teilflächen/ Umzäunungen etc.) sehr gut geeignet.

Updates haben er weiter verbessert. 

Mit zu erwartenden Updates ein vielversprechendes Programm. Die Sprache entspricht der des iPhones. Man kann Flächen ab 50 qm berechnen (Stecknadeln selbst setzen). Man kann auch die Eckpunkte einer Fläche abschreiten (abfahren) und an jedem Eckpunkt erst mit GPS die Position suchen und dann eine Stecknadel setzen. Es läuft mit iPhone 3G, iOS 4. Ein sehr schönes Programm.

Es lassen sich durch Antippen des Fadenkreuzes nur widerwillig Messpunkte setzen.

Funktionalitäten wie das Entfernen von Stecknadeln funktionieren plötzlich zeitweise nicht mehr.

Stecknadeln lassen sich bisweilen nicht mehr mittels Drag&Drop verschieben.

Zeitweise keine Anzeige mehr von Distanz-, Flächen- oder Umfängen.

Es erfolgt bisweilen keinerlei Messung bei manuellem Setzen der Messpunkte mittels Button.

Fazit: Grundsätzlich eine sehr sinnvolle App, die allerdings in diesem Entwicklungsstadium zeitweise nur eine bessere Google-Map-Funktionalität bietet. Und Letzteres ist bekanntermaßen kostenfrei.

Hardware: iPad 4 mit Retina-Display
Betriebssystem: IOS 6.1.3

Nachtrag: Nach einer Neuinstallation und anschließendem Neustart des iPad laufen nun die die Funktionen phasenweise so wie sie sollen,wenn auch noch nicht völlig fehlerfrei und teilweise nur mit Nachdruck bzw. mehrfachem Starten der jeweiligen Funktion. Daher nun drei, statt dem einen Stern. Wenn das Tool verlässlich läuft, verdient es allerdings fünf Sterne.
