For the major bug: For some reason there is a way that when somebody is losing they can run out the clock and win. Can’t figure out how they do it, but is so frustrating. The filtering of Elo when match making doesn’t work. The new multiple matching sometimes ends up starting multiple games at time. Things that are standard in lichess or chess.com are not available. You can’t scroll back and forward to see your moves. You can’t see what pieces are captured although they recently added the ability to see how many points your behind. The color schemes for the boards are terrible. Can we please get standard looking boards. The sound the pieces make are still made even when the phone is silent. There is always a lag between when you make your move and the computer picks it up. No wonder that on most days there are only a few hundred people on. This app is a struggle.

Unfortunately, FIDE does not deliver a well thought out product. With heavy lag during games, poor app response, glitches, errors, bugs... you name it. It comes across as a money grab with the sole approach of pushing a paid premium account... and even the process of creating a PRO account had bugs LOL! And their website is no better. FIDE should take itself more seriously as a prominent governing body of chess and fix their product. Respect your player base.

Updated today first game player stopped making moves and his time ran out. I checked my results which said I lost on time. Either fix this pgm or return my money.

FIDE is horrible now you have people that constantly cheat and you have no way to report them this app is garbage I will not use FIDE until it’s fixed

You should hire someone from chess.com. I need to wait forever for play a game. The app isn’t user friendly. Is embarrass that chess.com has so much better app. Specially when you can have a title with this app. Please, please, please!!!!…. hire someone that can fix this app.

You can’t type special characters in the password field but passwords have special characters.

Any rematch: Can’t make even a single move. Every game therefore aborts. Also: even first game, where moves go though, they are very hard to make and take too long to go through. I can play 1+0 on lichess, but in this app, even 2+0 I flag every time. Also: when premoving, app plays move sounds like 4 times… Please fix. Edit: puzzles have no sounds.

Pieces randomly disappear while playing. Played 3 games and never logged back on

I haven’t experienced the app crashing that everyone else seems to be mentioning. However, I’ve noticed this App drains the battery of my iPad incredibly quickly. 47 minutes of playing and I lost nearly 20% of my battery. That’s more than any other game I have played on my iPad. Definitely unexpected behavior from a Chess app.
