## Play Description
Play-Cricket Scorer is the easy way to digitally score and automatically upload to Play-Cricket.com.

Built for recreational cricket, Play-Cricket Scorer provides all the detail of a traditional scoresheet making it easy for recreational scorers and powerful enough for regular scorers.

Using Play-Cricket Scorer, you can live score any game on Play-Cricket, or setup and score your own game whether at the beach, in the garden or at practise sessions.

Play-Cricket Scorer utilises technology to keep the cricket scorer at the centre of the game, providing functionality to live broadcast game events, statistics and results.

The powerful, simplified design allows scorers to focus on what really matters - scoring!

Features:
• Score a large variety of scoring combination such as single-innings or two-innings games.
• Score your own casual match (including Pairs cricket), with custom teams and custom players.
• Search, select, re-order and assign roles (Cpt and Wkt) to players in your team.
• View a ball-by-ball breakdown of the current innings and view scores in a traditional scorecard.
• Choose to automatically upload all game data, including team and player statistics, in real time to Play-Cricket.com, with a live connection. Alternatively, select to auto upload when a connection is available post-match.
• Full editing controls for both individual balls and entire overs, including the ability to change bowler, fielder, dismissal type, scoring type, runs and much more.
• Customise your scoring, including Overs per innings, maximum overs per bowler, balls per over and more.
• Option to manage rain affected games using integrated Duckworth-Lewis (Standard) calculations.
• Share results and statistics on social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.
• Easily recover or resume scoring a partially-completed game from any compatible device.
• Comprehensive in-app help system, covering all screens of the Play-Cricket Scorer app.

## Play Reviews in United Kingdom

### ****- "Great app but unable to add Umpires in app"
Great app used weekly to score matches. Needs ability to add Umpires in app rather than having to log in on a computer.
-- bored@123, 2024-10-01

### *---- "Can’t use it"
Repeated issues with log-in
-- SimonWinton, 2024-07-28

### ****- "A bit more help when using the app"
I am always having to go back and forth because the app crashes and gives me weird messages but overall a good app
-- Ruaraidh .pole, 2024-07-18

### *---- "Utter rubbish"
Utter rubbish

How can you possibky believe this is usable ???
-- Go awY idiitic sw, 2024-07-13

### ****- "Resuming scoring duty - good but needs a practice run"
After a couple of decades away, scoring has modernised - a lot. Handy features but takes some getting used to, 2 matches minimum. Heavy on battery in the sunshine but great for stats in the long run
-- Vapotrail, 2024-06-21

### *---- "Play Cricket App Review"
Very flakey software. Hardly ever known a match score well without a hitch of some type or another.
-- Candy CrashTestDummy, 2024-06-20

### ***-- "Not easy"
This is my first year using this app and some features are really good. I like the way the actual scoring is set up. However some aspects really let this app down. I am scoring under 9’s pairs and ladies softball and it the way the matches setup is it won’t let me edit the parts I need to etc. Also the app on the iPad is different to the app on the phone.
-- Gail Tuesday, 2024-06-10

### ***-- "SCC"
We try to use it for our 4 Saturday sides on dedicated ipads- twice this season two of our teams suffered the same glitch - where overs were not ending automatically and the end over option or indeed any other action had no effect and the over just continued. This of course causes panic in the scorebox and necessitates getting paper book going and lots of reconciliation headaches after. So despite being an enthusiastic i am in two minds about using it tomorrow - a shame
-- Brock_and_Roll, 2024-05-31

### ***-- "Keeps freezing"
Great app but keeps freezing when in middle of game which results in delays and wrong results
-- Knottingley cc, 2024-05-02

### ***** "Nice!"
Surprisingly intuitive to use tho gets a little confusing when batters run leg byes… but fun to be able to have people follow live and easier (for a beginner at least) than pen and paper!
