## Playground Description
Real piano lessons. Real results. Simply learn to play piano with fun, step-by-step lessons, world-class teachers, and the songs you love — even if you’ve never played a note before. Works with any piano or keyboard – start with a free trial.

Playground Sessions was co-created by music legend Quincy Jones (28× GRAMMY winner). Quincy helped shape our curriculum and how our piano app arranges songs to ensure every lesson is musically authentic, fun to play, and designed to build real, lasting piano skills. “We designed Playground so even if you’ve never played a single note before, you’d be hooked and having fun from day one — while learning real musical skills that stay with you for life.” – Quincy Jones

Perfect for beginners, adults returning to piano, homeschooling families, and musicians learning piano as a new instrument — Playground combines real-time feedback, step-by-step video lessons, and hit songs to make learning piano easy, effective, and fun.

Trusted by real users — even Jimmy Fallon.
Late-night host Jimmy Fallon picked up Playground in his free time to learn piano:
“I love it, I really love it! It makes me feel like I’m learning!”
Years later, Playground is still Jimmy’s favorite piano app.

Each song includes multiple arrangements (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced), so you can play no matter where you are on your journey.

## Playground Reviews in United States

### *---- "Useless"
The app can’t recognize my keyboard. It never goes through the motions to set it up. I can click on the “keyboard and volumes” option in settings. I emailed the creator with no response. I also posted on the facebook page with no response. I just signed up for an annual subscription…disappointing…
-- Since life, 2024-12-10

### *---- "Customer support"
I tried out this product using a trial subscription and really liked it. I paid for an annual subscription after my trial expired but the app will not let me access any content. It keeps saying I need to upgrade my subscription, which I have already done. That’s when I learned the ONLY way to reach customer report is by email, which is a little ridiculous. I hoped to receive a swift response but have not heard from them 24 hours later. I’m very disappointed.
-- Jofielfromheaven, 2024-10-29

### ***-- "Great app if …"
You can figure out how it works, and where you are suppose to go next.
-- jplanda, 2024-10-26

### *---- "Does not work with Casiotone LK-S245"
I got the trial app that came bundled with Costco’s Casiotone LK-S245. The lessons and music from the app does NOT light up the keys on the Casiotone keyboard, which completely defeats the purpose of purchasing light up keyboard, so your child can learn how to play.

Also, installing the App on your children’s iPAd does not bring up any of the music sheet in the app - it just silently fails and never loads. It does not give you the option to fix it in settings, Family Sharing, or otherwise. Your only recourse is to either completely disable Family Sharing in your child’s account so they can be exposed to adult content, or to install it on a separate iPad using an adult Apple account. The entire experience is not user friendly and took hours to figure out what was even wrong.
-- Bosukete, 2024-10-17

### ****- "What Happened?"
I stepped away from this app for a couple of months, and now it won’t even load!
-- Sue too, 2024-10-07

### *---- "This app is trash"
I paid for an annual subscription. It’s been buggy since I’ve had it and now it won’t even let me log in. What am I paying for?
-- EmLe98, 2024-10-03

### ***** "This app is so fun"
Super fun and really easy to learn. I couldn’t be more happy with it. If I can learn piano, I’m convinced anyone can learn with Playground. They make it really easy to follow, I can learn at my own pace. And I just love the music selection and the interactivity. I’m 48 years old and still love getting 100%!
-- dav6776, 2024-08-08

### *---- "This app is broken on the iPad and not playable."
This app is too laggy on the iPad to be useful anymore. You will have to use the Windows version to make any progress here.
-- Rampage2011, 2024-07-28

### *---- "Sorry"
It has fake sheet music and just 200 songs
-- Asasasassasdtfdg, 2024-07-11

### *---- "Very poor app"
Piano is constantly out of sync with the app. Music on the app cuts out, makes cracking noises, especially with songs that have been in the library for awhile, ie jazz standards. With some internet providers the app doesn’t work at all
