## Playlist Tools Description
Do you use the Music app? Then...

Remove Duplicates
================
Do you have playlists that contain duplicates or same songs from multiple artists? Music Tools will detect and remove these duplicates without the need for iTunes.
The process of removing songs detects duplicates and do preselect duplicate songs for deletion. You can adjust the preselection of songs to suit your needs. The song removal process creates a new playlist that does not contain duplicate songs.

Import songs
===========
If you have an Apple Music subscription and need to add lots of songs, use the feature to import songs into Music. Songs can be imported from selected text from any application using the Share function. Or from a text file (.txt extension) in any of your applications.
Each song title (+ artist name) must be on one line. The song import process looks for a song title in Apple Music service. For each song title, it selects one match and offers other possible songs. After you checking the search, enter the name of the new playlist and start the import process. Import adds songs from Apple Music to your library in one batch.

## Playlist Tools Reviews in United States

### *---- "Not Worth A Penny"
Every Time I Open The App And Tap On A Playlist, The App Closes. I Can’t Really Get Into The App Because It Always Closes
-- Dempsey Dixon Jr, 2025-04-12

### *---- "What a disappointment"
I just want an app to delete the duplicate songs on my iphone. ALL SONGS! Not in playlists - but in THE PHONE LIBRARY! Not iTunes library on my PC either. Not photos. JUST THE MUSIC ON MY IPHONE.

ITS TOO MUCH TO ASK. THIS APP IS USELESS TO ME. PLAYLISTS ARE A SUBSET. REMOVE DUPLICATE TUNES FROM THE ENTIRE PHONE THEN TAKE MY 99 cents!
-- MJ from MD, 2024-09-23

### ***** "It works!!"
I’m glad I actually didn’t get ripped off. It technically does remove all duplicate songs.. it just creates a new playlist. I had 1500 songs in a playlist. Searching for all the duplicates was gonna be a headache all night. Thank you!!
-- YouLikeBoyss, 2024-05-28

### ***** "Lickety-split"
Works exactly as advertised. Saved me hours of pouring over duplicates. Well worth the 99¢
-- Mr. Justin, 2023-04-03

### *---- "Only works for playlists doesn’t remove them just makes new list"
Lame. Bare minimum functionality. Only works with playlists. Doesn’t delete or remove duplicate songs. It takes a playlist in which you may have added a duplicate song to and then this app scans it and makes a new playlist with just unique songs no dupes. For someone that just wants to remove duplicates from their music library permanently it doesn’t do that. Just creates a new playlist without dupes.
-- CristianTheWriter, 2021-10-24

### ***** "Works Quickly and Reliably!"
This app finds and removes duplicates very quickly. And their support department was able to assist when I had an issue.
-- KeithIsListening, 2021-06-21

### *---- "Don’t waste your money"
Downloaded the app. And nothing! I still have to go through my playlist albums one by one and delete individual songs. I could have done that for free! Thanks for nothing. Enjoy spending my support money! Technology gods doing what they do best.
-- Roha 55, 2021-05-18

### ***** "Exactly as advertised!"
This tool removes song dups in your playlist and writes out a new playlist. The original song is not deleted and the original playlist is unaltered. For the complainers: it’s a dollar and does what it's supposed to. Already saved me a bunch of time!

Need your playlists cleaned up? Buy this!
-- MapperJim, 2020-11-30

### *---- "Only removes songs from play list not library"
If you’re looking for something to remove duplicate songs from your library this won’t do it, this just rewrite’s your playlist without the duplicate song but the duplicates are still in your library taking up space.
-- Pasmarba, 2020-11-08

### *---- "Gave a dollar away :-/"
Does not work. It opens up and nothing happens
