## PlayLocal Description
Play more quality tennis.

Like a full service tennis club membership, the PlayLocal social network connects you to other tennis players nearby and allows you to reserve public court times in advance (you heard us correctly...reservations on PUBLIC TENNIS COURTS!). Spend more of your free time playing tennis, rather than finding a partner or waiting in line to get on a court.

And unlike an expensive gym membership, you can join for free! Plus, with the flexibility of going to PlayLocal.com or the mobile app, you can schedule matches whenever and wherever you like.

To make it easier for you to play more tennis, PlayLocal also provides:
[+] Messaging called “Huddles” for setting up matches or shooting the breeze with friends and other players
[+] Flexibility in how you would like to be notified of activity (Push notifications, email, etc.)
[+] A single profile that lets you make court reservations in any participating city (we partner with cities and towns so that the reservations made through PlayLocal act as official city permits, with signage on the courts so that there are no disputes)

With the PlayLocal app in your pocket, you can set up tennis matches in the grocery store, on the train home, or as you walk to the courts! Play hard friends, PlayLocal.

## PlayLocal Reviews in United States

### *---- "Poor system for the common player"
Booking through the app makes it harder for the average person to play. Every time I go on, all the courts near me are completely booked for 2 weeks out. I have had better luck of playing by just showing up in person and hoping for a “no-show” (there are frustratingly a large number of no-shows for these reservations). It’s not a great system and was clearly not thought out much before launching. This has made the tennis playing experience much more difficult in the city and I wish the people who created the app and the city officials had thought out a better system before launching this deficient application.

### **--- "Sure would be great to be able to sign in"
Everytime I try to sign in I get some kind of message saying I’m trying to access a page that I don’t have credentials for.
-- Yo itz Charlo, 2023-10-03

### *---- "Scam"
Arlington MA does not partner with this app. This scam app still lists the tennis courts in Arlington MA and with a price of $10 for each court. It is a scam.
-- Fan Di, 2022-08-21

### *---- "Bad for the common player"
constantly exploited by commercial operations
-- oswald coblepott, 2022-03-15

### *---- "Was ok, no longer works"
I didn’t like the verification using credit card. Now it doesn’t work at all.
-- Mighty bear 🐻, 2021-11-25

### **--- "Buggy"
App freezes, crashes, opens a browser when trying to select a date.. unfortunately a poor execution of a good idea.
-- Dr and St Denis, 2021-04-30

### *---- "Lots of bugs. Constantly have problems."
My town uses it to reserve tennis courts. It is very frustrating.
-- a must for travelers, 2021-04-25

### *---- "Webapp poorly designed"
Tha app is just a web app (running in a browser), poorly designed as one has to constanly restart the app to have it working properly. Can’t play local invest in a native app???
-- patgrdj, 2020-09-27

### *---- "Bugs Galore"
Almost unusable due to all the bugs and the frequency with which the whole app freezes. Ended up just going to the website instead.

It would also be nice if the app has the option to show courts that didn’t gave reservations available, just so I can see what courts you can even reserve.
-- ACot33, 2020-09-06

### **--- "Need improvements"
Lots of bugs, app constantly froze or not functioning properly.
-- Poker&&&, 2020-08-18
