Bought download credits and got charged. Unfortunately never received the credits. Send countless emails and request but nobody replies or cares. What a pity that people ruin an actual good app with ignorance and no customer service. Why does nobody care these days anymore.
Being able to download shows & movies to watch off-line while traveling is a wonderful upgrade to any vacation.
I begin my downloads on my iPhone and store on my old android or laptop to watch when I have time to relax it’s wonderful catching up on shows and downloading them for later ! It’s a life saver! If only my laptop was as reliable as this app!!
I’m 14, and that means finding ways to watch my shows, mostly anime, in a form that I can download (legally..) is hard! Luckily, the subscription for such great deals at such low cost was the solution I found!! Absolutely love it!!
I have used this app for quite some time. It’s amazing. Yes, adds randomly pop up for deals before setting up your recording. But this is a minor inconvenience which the user just clicks away. This doesn’t diminish the convenient opportunity to record a favorite show! Occasionally I have had to reach out to tech support. The Zen desk responds quickly with solutions that solve problems! It is one of my favorite apps, which I highly recommend for everyone! You will find PlayOn of great value to your library!

Infinitely more convenient than the desktop app but some UI flaws and regular, obnoxious popups definitely hurt the experience. Also, they’ve discontinued the cheaper plan without the additional storage which is annoying. 7 days is enough time for most people to download their recordings but being forced to purchase the 100 GB limit is just another way to raise prices it seems. The app isn’t clear about expiration dates for the recordings as there’s no mention of times just dates in the app or accompanying emails. And the regular popups trying to sell more credit packs or always trying to get me to use triple the credits for 1080p get super annoying. I wish there was a way to turn all of that off especially as a paying member.
The app downloads the movies so fast
This app is great, when the channels you want are available. But they can randomly go missing for months with no updates or information. IPlayer has been missing for at least 2 months now. Contacted support, and they just say they are working on it. I think they want to push their desktop service which is only available for Windows computers and requires a monthly subscription, and they aren’t spending enough time making sure cloud works.
I’ve been looking for a way to keep my cell phone data bill manageable. With a couple discrete subscriptions, and other memberships, and this app, I can now do so! I’ve had a long-term illness, and couldn’t afford cable anymore, and streaming is so expensive. With Cloudon I can record what I want, download it on WIFI, and and still afford little things like food and Rx’s!😅. Great job. I wish I’d found this a year ago, it would have saved me about … a lot. Hundreds of dollars in the last year!
