### ***** "Best of its kind"
Love the iCloud saving feature, history, overall done and functions nice. Out of the competition this is the only one worth time or money. 

Some improvements could be made

- adding a total play count or toggle to switch between time listened and total plays for trending and history would be very appreciated
- awards arent interesting they’re very limited and app could do with a better replacement feature (maybe some cool stat visualisation?)

I’ve recently switched from Spotify to Apple Music, and am really enjoying using the Mac app to create smart playlists and view detailed stats. Although the yearly Replay works fine - I wanted more information with regards to my most listened to songs each month of the year.

I was a little sceptical at first as many Apple Music stats apps are either poorly designed, or struggle with syncing. This app has none of those issues. It’s very well designed, updates almost instantly, and utilises Apple Cloud Library’s built in music stats as its foundation for counting. It automatically fills in all information that it can on first launch (such as total play count, play time and skips), and then starts tracking daily song plays from the install date. It all works seamlessly, and allows you to select any date range, and view how often songs were played within that range, giving you a nice “top 10” style view per week/month/year.

Plays across all devices count, and it allows syncing of this data directly to iCloud. It’s definitely worth the price tag, and is exactly what I was looking for - allowing you to display and sort based on play statistics, and custom “Replay style” views for any time period that you’d like.

Downloaded this app recently and it’s what I’ve been wanting. I’ve tried other AM stat apps but it wasn’t really to my liking, but this is perfect. One thing I do have a slight problem with is when you skip a track, the minutes I’ve listened too don’t count towards the total play time and also it doesn’t tell me the minutes. I noticed it was changed in the version updates but would love that feature too.

Update 25 September 2022:
This app has been buggy for a few months now - has gone anything up to 5 days without updating on numerous occasions. Force scan isn’t responsive and after a while I discovered that opening one of the two related apps (I had added the bundle) somehow triggered this one into updating. Sadly that’s not worked this time and the app last updated on 15 September. Disappointing and the reason it’s currently rated 1. Please fix this! 

Initial review: Could be 5*  
I love the premise of this app, the Trending tab particularly, and it’s very easy to use BUT as a play counter - which surely is the main focus - it’s too inaccurate. I regularly have music playing all day and the app will reflect far fewer hours - 3,4,5 when it should be 8, 10 or 12. The last song I apparently played yesterday was at 17.26, when I know I switched music off to watch a tv programme that started at 8pm. I’ve tried using Force Scan but it doesn’t make any difference. So frustrating. Now that Apple Music mirrors any song playing on another of my devices on my phone lock screen, I’d expect this app to be recognising those given it’s also on my phone. If the play count was accurate, this would be a 5* app without question.

This app is a really good solution to view the information Apple Music doesn’t let you see, my only complaints with the app are small things like how long it takes to refresh and the lack of HomePod support

### ***** "Brilliant!"
Just what I wanted. An app that tracks plays of my local music library.

The app tracks much more accurately than any other app I've used before, and can be relied on to work continuously even if you don't open the app for a few days etc

It's a handy reference for looking up songs or albums, investigating plays, and the trending tab is a great way to keep track of what I've got on repeat and could be put into my regular playlists.

Very handy tool I'd highly recommend to other stats nerds like myself :)

beautiful design without any doubt but however it only shows the data from the day the app was downloaded. 

Earlier data is not shown. Lifetime played hours and todays hours are the same when the first day of downloading the app.

I wish this could be fixed as other alternative apps do show the full data from the day I started using Apple Music. Once again very nice design that hints with Apple Music extremely well :)

The app works as expected and the awards feature is a nice touch. It would be great if the history tab had a section for most played genres. I think I’ll need to use the app longer to find it useful, but otherwise, it works smoothly (considering my large library!) and looks awesome.
