PlayWeave is here to help. PlayWeave is a free app built in New Zealand for Kiwi families. It helps you connect with other parents at your child's school so you can confidently say yes when your kids want to get together. How it works Create a profile for your family, add your children and their school, and you are ready to go. PlayWeave connects you with other parents in your school community so you can plan get togethers, discover local events, and build real friendships. Discover and create events Browse family friendly events happening near you with our map and list views. Filter by date, activity type, age range, price, and distance to find exactly what suits your family. Create your own events too, whether that is a birthday party, a trip to the park, or a weekend adventure. Choose to make events public for anyone to find, unlisted so only people with a link can see them, or private and invite only. There are ten activity categories to explore: outdoor, indoor, sports, creative, learning, music, food and dining, adventure, water activities, and seasonal. Carepool for school holidays Organise shared childcare with trusted families during the school holidays. Set up a carepool, invite your parent friends, and PlayWeave automatically creates a fair rotation schedule. Each parent takes a turn looking after the kids, complete with dropoff and pickup times, daily plans, and notes on what to bring. It is like having your own village. Chat safely and easily Message other parents directly, in event groups, or in custom group chats. Share photos, coordinate plans, and stay connected. Every conversation is monitored by AI content moderation to keep things family friendly and respectful. Built for New Zealand PlayWeave includes a database of over 2,500 New Zealand schools so you can quickly find and connect with parents in your community. The app also knows NZ public holidays and school term dates from 2025 to 2028, making it easy to plan around the school calendar. Regional holidays are supported too, so your planning always lines up with your local area. Invitations made simple Invite other parents by email or share a unique invite code. Track RSVPs so you always know who is coming, who might come, and who has to skip this one. Your family, your way Set up profiles for each of your children with their name, age, and school. Personalise your own profile with an avatar and your location. Switch between light and dark mode, and choose exactly which notifications you want to receive. Sign in easily with Apple, Google, or a passwordless magic link sent to your email. No passwords to remember. Privacy and safety come first. PlayWeave is a platform for parents, by parents. Children never interact with the app directly. All messaging is moderated, and your data stays yours. Made with love in Aotearoa, New Zealand. ## PlayWeave Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/25/aa/2c/25aa2ca1-a166-c7cd-415a-c41e09fdaf7d/image1.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/c7/84/49/c78449ec-8c20-75a8-88cf-ef59a9b270f3/image2.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/cb/c8/6e/cbc86e12-6688-d180-ac0f-ec75e9ffd56c/image3.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/ce/12/43/ce12431e-7acd-fbc5-d615-0354e6354b83/image4.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/21/dc/94/21dc940b-9254-9d0f-674a-d87c2ed767bd/image5.png/1290x2796.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/9b/0d/25/9b0d2577-ba76-a5c2-9566-c8cde899e248/image6.png/1290x2796.png) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
