can't get mandarin pronunciation
After iphone upgrade to ios 18.0, mandarin pronunciation is missing.
Keeps crashing
I’ve been using Pleco a good ten years now. Since late 2023, however, I’ve noticed the voice over pronunciation not always working and often the app is crashing. I would urge the developers to sort this out. It’s getting really frustrating for what was an excellent app.
Good all-round program for Chinese language assistance
Good even as a free app, but excellent with the paid features (and getting better all the time). Provides good support for Cantonese as well. Helpful support.
it’s like magic
I don’t know how anyone could code this and make it free. The stroke order, the reading of the Chinese characters, the dictionary - seems like a whole lot of work. Truly the developers of this app are saints for the Chinese language.

Pleco is great, especially the sound function! It's helping me a lot in my Cantonese teaching. However it is not right to call Cantonese words "dialect". Cantonese is a language.
