Integrazione con Apple CarPlay piena di bug
Nessun problema con l’app sul telefono, ma utilizzandola tramite CarPlay è un incubo.
Ad un certo punto per alcuni artisti non mostra più l’elenco degli album, quindi è impossibile selezionarli ed ascoltarli se non chiedendolo a Siri.
Spesso e volentieri la copertina dell’album ed il nome della canzone si bloccano, e le canzoni successive sia in random che non, non si sa autore, titolo album e titolo canzone. Da notare che tutte le canzoni hanno i tag correttamente impostati e tutte sono state acquisite da CD a Mac in modalità loseless e con tutti i tag relativi.
Come scritto sopra, su cellulare funziona tutto correttamente. Ma quando sono in auto sarebbe comodo usare l’app direttamente sul display dell’auto senza toccare il telefono.
Bella, ma manca una versione per Apple Watch
L’app funziona bene, è molto bella graficamente e ormai è diventata la mia app di riferimento per ascoltare musica anche in alta qualità. Il problema più grande a oggi, è la mancanza di una versione per Apple Watch. Un vero peccato.

(1) Italian language support is missing. (2) The ability to customize icons is missing, as present in the Plex App. (3) Alexa Cast support for streaming to Echo speakers is missing. Minus one star for each of the above shortcomings. But they are on the right track to becoming the best.
The best part of Plex
It really shows the love and skill with which is made, but CarPlay is sometimes erratic and could be improved.
Finalmente soddisfatto
Da anni, dopo aver abbandonato iTunes cercavo un programma per gestire la mia grande raccolta discografica digitale. Ne ho provati molti, e plexamp è senz’altro il migliore. Multipiattaforma, permette di gestire dal telefono o iPad la libreria e spararla sull’impianto che si preferisce. Fantastica l’offerta di informazioni e le varie possibilità di creare scalette.
Ottima ma…
Bisognerebbe a parer mio gestire i download meglio, dovreste introdurre la possibilità di scaricare ogni singolo brano anziché album…
