## PlotTwist Description
Hi Friends,

We’re Danielle and Julie, cofounders of PlotTwist, healthcare providers (Danielle is a nurse practitioner and Julie is a physician assistant), best friends from college (WE ARE Penn State), and yes, also two people looking for community. So, just know: WE GET IT.

We know what it’s like to live in the most populated city in the United States and to still feel lonely. To want to chime in with that group of friends laughing in the elevator, but to look down at your phone instead. To bookmark every trivia night, open mic, book club, and kickball league seen on TikTok, but to chicken out at the last second because you don’t want to go alone.

BUT we also know this: when we’re together, we never fear saying yes to anything. And this “yes” mentality is what leads to the loudest laughs, the most unbelievable stories, and the richest feeling of human connection.

Life should feel social, fulfilling, and safe. It should be full of unexpected plans, connections you didn’t see coming, and core memories with your favorite people. That’s why we built PlotTwist. Because when you show up with someone who feels safe, you’re suddenly free to meet people who are new and your world expands in both directions: closer to the people you love and deeper into your community.

We’re building PlotTwist because we’ve made it our mission to give every person the confidence they need to feel plugged into their community. We’re building for a world where social circles overlap, people mix freely, and everyone feels like they belong.

Lastly, we just wanna say: to the lifelong friends we’ve met through PlotTwist - we adore you, to the guys we’ve double dated through PlotTwist who are forever part of our single life lore - we love you (even if you didn’t love us back... your loss, tbh), and… to the people we haven’t met yet but will because of PlotTwist - we’re ready when you are.

With love,
Danielle and Julie

How to use PlotTwist:
Create an account
Invite a friend to team up (if you have more than one single friend, invite them all)
Create your joint profile
Browse other teams (when you like a team and they like your team back, that’s a connection, or what you might call a match on dating apps)
Group chat with your connections
Make plans for group hang (or a double date, or a meet up, or whatever you want to call it!!!) IRL

## PlotTwist Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Not available in my big city"
I love the concept of the app but it’s not available in my state’s capitol — which is insane to me :/
-- Apriciti, 2024-12-27

### ***** "Double dates are the best dates"
Been a few of these and omg, they are miles above and beyond the typical awkwardness and difficulties of that come with a single first date
-- Mattyrod1, 2024-10-03

### *---- "Horrible Glitch"
Once someone is tapped no or yes the screen goes blank every single time. Needs work, cant even use the app
-- CreamsicleCupcakeUnicorn108, 2024-05-02

### ***** "love this app"
Awesome app, really like the idea double dating…definitely takes the pressure off! Highly recommend!
-- Mitchy213124142`142, 2024-02-24

### *---- "Fake accounts"
I’ve matched with multiple teams with my friend and even now not one person we matched with said a word for over 2 weeks this app I won’t recommend
-- Deeboa1, 2024-02-06

### *---- "App doesn’t work"
app doesn’t let you get past the phone number verification page
-- Tallybop16, 2024-01-25

### *---- "No one really uses this app"
There’s no one even really on this app and the few that are are clearly bots who will either not answer you so it looks like you still have matches or just be there and not do anything at all. Don’t waste your time.
-- Yodaiscoll12344321, 2024-01-21

### ***** "Love this app! Makes dating fun"
Big fan of Fourplay and the concept in general. I think double dates are an awesome, stress free and fun way to do a first date. Excited to see this app grow. 5 stars
-- DunkinDani, 2023-12-14

### ****- "Suggestions!"
Allow more pictures and prompts and other unique interactive bio features ! Would love it if we could get more details like Hinge. Option to see who’s “liked” you. Being able to read an individuals bio right off on the team display. Requiring a bio! Make the picture choosing less confusing: let one person pick 2 pics and let the other person pick 2 pics for the team photos. This would make everything way less confusing and glitchy. Same with the prompts. Just divide it so we don’t mess with the other persons choices. A feature that shows us who wrote the answer to the prompt.

### ***** "Big fan of Fourplay"
Such a great idea to keep modern dating fun and alive. My friends and I love it !!
